If it wasn’t just a stupidly huge grind. Too many factions, too little rep/currency for stuff, all the stuff you unlock is massively expensive. Makes a near perfect concept total trash.

To each their own. I like driving, I like the funny goblin stuff, theme, everything. They put a lot into it just to ruin it with giga unfun slow grinds.

Might be the perfect goblin patch if it explain more lore like who was the goblin leader during the second war or mimiron’s kajamite experiements.

How did Gallywix even come to power in Undermine? He was presumably not in power at all, ruling the Steamweedle Cartel as a member of The Horde.
Then in BfA he backed Sylvanas and lost everything. Is his rise to power in Undermine between the end of BfA and now ever explained?

This stupid thing. The Black Blood is easy enough to distill. But no matter how much I use on the Dark Heart, it won’t heal. It keeps taking more and more and depleting MY reserves.
What good is this deal if I don’t get anything out of it?
I told Xal’atath I need more. More time, Black Blood, and more help. She pointed me to a place where I can all that. Bonus, just the guy I need’s in the area. I can fix her trinket, make enough weapons to take over Undermine, and more.
She’s too impatient. I gotta look out for my interests. I heard what happened with her other allies and I ain’t no sap. That Dark Heart gets fixed when I got the gear to protect what’s mine.
She thinks she hold all the cards, but I got an ace or two.

Still odd that Xal’atath would let Jastor have the Dark Heart for such a long time without assurances that either A) He wouldn’t use it himself or B) He would lose it to someone else.
It doesn’t really fit the character.

She would underestimate yet another person right after being humbled by Alleria? I’m a bit skeptical.
As far as rep goes, I don’t understand why delves aren’t a source of it. In season 1, delves would drop some rep at the end of runs, and I never see Goblin faction rep drop. I think this would help with the grind.

Funny detail is Xal’atath pointed Gallywix to the Black Blood like she did with Queen Ansurek. Gallywix then hid the Dark Heart hostage among his other hostages. 
But isn’t that pretty much every new zone and content update these days? I haven’t gotten to Undermine yet since I’ve just returned to TWW, but personally I feel like this game has been in a “fun feature(s) in an engaging world ruined by the chore simulator style gameplay” situation since Shadowlands and up. I mean, seriously… they even managed to turn professions into the most tedious, joyless, unrewarding crafting I have ever seen in a MMO. Not that that makes it okay, just saying since I truly do not know how it differs from pretty much everything else we’ve been doing.

Azerite, and later, Black Blood. (They’re able to neutralize it with Kaja’mite.)
Fun fact, back in Cataclysm when Kezan exploded, it’s because goblins under Gallywix dug too deep and struck Azerite, causing massive earthquakes and stuff.
Deathwing came out of Deepholm nearby (the Maelstrom) flew over Kezan’s volcano, and thus he was blamed for it instead.
Very convenient, lol.
It’s a bit of a retcon for sure, made at some point in BfA, but it lends credence to the idea that Gallywix had been growing his wealth in secret for a long time now.
They discovered Azerite long, long before anyone else did.

I’ve only been going to Blackwater and I’m almost there to Exhalted, the grind is pretty crazy mostly because of the Timegate (unless you want to farm Chett Lists 
).
I hope they increase the rate later or start giving you small amounts of Cartel-specific rep for killing mobs in Undermine or doing Goblin Delves/Dungeons. Right now it’s faster to farm Darkfuse rep than any other Cartel because Market Research is everywhere, and you can just farm them for it by killing a ton of them with the Juice+Speakers buffs behind the Blackwater base.
The Blackwater Solutions rep grind is peak MMO degen non-gameplay.
Sit in a group and kill goblins for 9 hours.
Nah, what it needs is an automatic turret system that shoots any player who says “union” in any context.
That’s the whole game, bro.
It’s boring and dumb but at least you can always make a little progress on it while doing anything else in Undermine. Once you do the weeklies and world quests you’re just waiting until reset for the main 4 Cartels.
