Putting a car that goes Mach 10 into a small city almost the size of Stormwind was a horrible decision. Who is making these design decisions.
Stormwind is a small city?
There’s a trade off. Bigger city for the same amount of dev time = less detailed. You’d have more room to gallop on your car but you’d noticed the city would have less personality and detail.
I am really enjoying speeding around and crashing into stuff, remove the fall damage from when you jump from higher up in the car and it will be perfect.
This is one of those situations where gameplay should trump art direction.
I’D argue gameplay should ALWAYS come first.
The “skill” is mastering a speedy vehicle in tight spaces.
I think it’s great. In particular with the awesome zone music. I love driving like a maniac and crashing into things.
They could have spaced things out twice as much and it still wouldn’t have felt “empty” but still given you some room to breathe.
I for one enjoy getting to my destination in 10 seconds lol.
I’m sorry, I mean 3-5 seconds.
