I remember first experiencing Gilneas and being blown away by how immersive the zone was in all aspects, aesthetics, music, quest design. Undermine is like Kezan but on steroids, the music is so goblin-esque, the entire place is really. I give it a 10/10,
It’s quite fun, so much going on in the city that it’s interesting running around to see something new.
Its a beautiful zone, but may i know, which expansion was Kezan in? because i dont remember exploring a zone called Kezan.
Kezan is the Goblin starting zone from Cataclysm. It’s the area you start in before going to the Lost Isles.
It’s also where The Motherlode takes place.
It’s still never been a proper zone for everyone.
Kezan is the surface island of Undermine, back in Cataclysm we goblins started there.
As for OP, yeah it’s impressive when they go all-out on a certain thematic, love this as much as Gilneas from way back when.
The city-zones usually turn out quite good. They feel more alive than expansion hubs like Dalaran
which doesnt feel like a real city. Suramar was their first and it was a massive success with how immersive it actually was. Revendreth was my favorite SL zone because of how expansive the castle nathria area was.
As for undermine, I like that the buildings are detailed and multi-storied rather than just being one big room.
ahh, ok
It’s really not to my taste, and I don’t enjoy spending time in it. I don’t like the transmogs either, so I won’t come back to farm them. The only part I like is the music, and even that is wearing out its welcome
I personally hate it, but each to their own
All of my favorite zones are huge open spaces with lots of green, so Undermine was never going to be a place i liked, no matter how well made it is lol
