is there a way to turn it off permanently. I don’t mean turn off shipping & handling jobs.
I mean turn it off so i never have to see a giant bright green arrow in the middle of my screen while i’m trying to have fun and drive around doing jobs

You can turn it off by hitting the button on the cars ui, then turn it on when doing jobs

You turn it off the same way you turned it on, get back in the car and hit the same button.
NO. TURN IT OFF FOREVER EVEN WHILE ON THE JOBS.
i play wow for 16 hours a day and 8+ is driving around with jobs on. and for hours and hours i have this giant ugly green arrow in the middle of my screen.

Anyway to my knowledge there is currently no way to turn it off, but it’s handy for showing you where to go without your map, goes with the rapid fire pace.

yes currently i am existing in current content. doing things in undermine with a giant bright green arrow over my head all day long. because i literally never turn off jobs. because i do jobs all day
So you are continually doing S&H for those 8 hours, but want to do it without the arrow, is that correct? I’m asking to make sure I’m understanding correctly.
If that’s the case, I don’t believe there is a way to turn off the arrow. But you could check your edit mode, see what box that is and move it. Or you could see if an addon like Leatrix Plus or something will disable it for you.

I tried to look it up but got nothing. Maybe there’s an addon or something out there.
yeah like, i do jobs and inbetween stop around and kill rares and collect stuff and the entire time there is a giant green arrow over my head. it covers the mobs i’m fighting and things and it’s just totally annoying.
plus the main map already has a location marker for jobs. plus there is already a location marker built into the game. besides i’ve already memorized all the job names and location names and where they are
i tried /fstack and it doesn’t show up as a frame. so like anybody got ideas how to get rid of this thing? so undermine is more fun and fluid to play in.

All I can find is that Nanny Talullah gives you an item to turn it on and off when not in the vehicle, but that is not what you’re asking. And the only option for navigation display is “In Game Navigation”. Unable to test if that turns off the green arrow as well, but it’d turn off the other navigation too. Your best bet is to try some addons like Sendryn said.
Yeah, I can’t find anything either. I found a few related posts on Reddit and then Wowpedia posts about Arthas and Sylvanas. For some reason.
An addon may be released in the future to give you the ability to remove it but until then, don’t think it can be done.
How would you know where to go if you turn it off lmao
Oh cool thank you. I didnt know you could toggle it off. It was very annoying when i was doing wqs and side quests.

Things that block the game world unnecessarily, like the green arrow you mention, drive me bonkers. The interface is already taking up most of the screen, we don’t need toast windows and whirling baubles too!

If you type /fstack in game there doesn’t appear to be any frame the arrow is associated with that you can hide. The spellactivationoverlay frame is for things like surge of light procs I think. If you hide that frame and hover over the arrow with fstack up it doesn’t show anything so I don’t think you can easily hide it with a script but I’m not sure.

i know that’s how i feel
i hid the vehicle power bar using Kong addon. The powebar is not necessary
now that i know how to drift my powerbar is maxed like 100% of the time so it’s not like i need to know that.
