I was all excited for this mount when I saw it, being a old god lovecraftian themed. Purchase it with my tendies, mount up… huh no mount up sound. Lift off… no sound effect. Mount Special… again no sound (except a very slight breeze sound at the end)
I’m increasingly more and more disappointed in this mount the more I use it 
Not to mention that it doesn’t even increase travel speed underwater. They’ve crapped the bed on this one.
I’m going to freeze it and wait for someone to test it on beta to see if it’s dynamic flying.
Yeah I’m just refunding and freezing for now. May also see if I can do some sound effect weakauras for mounts. I should at least be able to get a sound effect to play when the mount cast finishes I think.

Thinking more about it, I’d think the N’Zoth serpent mounts’ sound effects could fit this (except the mount special of our sad fishy boi)
I purchased it and could not find it in my mount journal? Tried searching under both Underlight and Corrupted with no luck. Anyone else have this issue?
Looking at the wowhead page for the mount, it seems like it has some sound effects that aren’t decrypted/implemented properly. (there’s a nameless branch with 3 files that won’t play)
Wonder if it’s another hiccup like the Amber Skitterfly and most of the DF meta mounts were.
According to a wowhead comment, it has dynamic flight, while fast swimming activates in steady flight mode. Between that and the sounds, I think this is a case where the mount was added with some of its code missing.
Yep I’m having the same issue. Thankfully I was able to refund it as it was still during the 2 hour time window

Yeah I made another post mentioning this myself. Look at the Wonderous Wavewhisker mount. It has unique sounds and particle effects to make it seem like it’s dripping / exuding water, it also SOUNDS like your swimming while riding it. Not to mention it’s and actual WATER mount.
Meanwhile this Behemoth was just phoned in. No effects, no water speed boost. I mean for 800 tender it’s a little bit of a letdown. To say the least.
Thanks for mentioning that mount. I knew behemoth was reskin but couldn’t remember of what. This mount should definitely not have that one’s sound effects… but SOME sound at least. That’s where I’d think the n’zoth serpent mounts could kinda fit. Or maybe it does have sound effects that are broken and not coded in right like Greenguy mentioned…
I had this issue. Check your filter and make sure trading post is on. Never unchecked it before but didn’t know it was even an option lol. Hopefully this helps.

Yeah, I’m very disappointed. Hopefully it’s fixed during next week’s reset.
After the weekly maintenance it’s still not fixed.
Bought it… wasn’t really happy with it but too lazy to refund it in the two hour window. Oh well. Maybe they will fix it in the future.

Okay so after playing around with the mount this week a bit. (I use the Wonderous Wavewhisker to use as a contrast)
From what I can tell there IS in fact sound effects from this mount however they are very soft and seem somewhat muted. Like I had to turn everything else down and raise the volume sliders to max to be able to hear the bit of creaking leather of the saddle, or the very slight swish sound when jumping. By comparison the Wavewhisker sounds are much louder/sharper and can be heard even at lower volume levels. Also the unique sound of splashing / dripping water heard while riding or flying make the Wavewhisker feel much more fleshed out and enjoyable to ride.
So as to my previous conclusion this mount at 800 tender seems to be not worth it. If it in it’s current state was 250 tender then maybe. Even still though in it’s current state it just isn’t that enjoyable to use when compared to other mounts so I probably wouldn’t even use it just have it for my collection.
I feel like when it comes to mounts, at least for me, the small attention to detail those little extras provide are what make me want to use it.
