Underground Miners in Icecrown

Like, seriously? How has this gone on the entire release with no resolution? I lose like 5-10 nodes a day to these scumbags that aren’t targetable for reporting. What gives? 3 Titanium veins in a row this morning, ridiculous.

Look man, it’s just too hard to detect a player’s Z-axis (in regards to the ‘terrain’ being 0 on the Z) in this game. :person_shrugging:

It hasent just gone the entire release. It has gone since the start of wow. There nothing new and detecting there position dose nothing most of these programs trick the game into seeing them at the correct pos even no there not. Just like when the game thinks you’re at the correct level but you’re under the world. If it was as easy as oh your at neg z access action players wouldent get stuck falling through the world as could just use a script to fix it. Dosent work that way. If it was working correctly it wouldebt be a bug (falling through the world) or in the case of miners an effective hack. They abuse flaws in the system to not get caught, if it was as easy to detect as looking at pos it would have been fixed in vanilla wow when blizzard cared.

Blizz never “cared”. Way back in the day I was tracking them on my hunter with Track Humanoids, then adding them to friends so I could see where they went. Level 2s were underground mining all the nodes in Eastern Plague Lands, then within seconds would be in some other high level zone, then another, etc. I reported them again and again, made videos showing it, and 6 months later the same characters were all still on my friends list doing the same thing…forever.

Fly hacking, teleport hacking, speed hacking (they did this when you tried to kill them on pvp servers, just ZING, gone!), leveling bots, under world gathering. All been going on since day one, and never once have I seen any action taken by Blizzard to stop them. In all versions of WoW now, it is VASTLY worse than ever before. Now they literally run right out in the open in a never ending train of bots on a scripted path, like a rush hour freeway of bot activity. In both Classics, and retail.

Meanwhile I get dc’d while doing King of the Mountain because the robot glitches slightly through the ground. :person_facepalming:

They won’t do anything… just like all the farming bots in Sholazar… tons and tons everyday, but nothing ever gets done no matter how many times they get reported.

Blizzard does not prioritize botting; they need to be more proactive about banning bots. Even with all the data available, they claim that every account is looked at before being banned. I feel the same with fishing bots; they are everywhere. If you do a who on your server of level 10 players, you’ll notice them in howling fjord or Borean. There is a level 10 bot on my server that fishes 24/7, and if you compare achievements, its fished about 500k fish over the last few months. Based on the data, blizzards could be about 99.9% sure it’s a fishing bot and auto ban them. It will eventually be banned as i’ve reported it dozens of times, but its totally worth them to open a new account and do it all over again as it will take months before they are banned again. It would only take a day or so of fishing to pay for the account.
