Undercover gaming laptop

Starting a new role and I get a new laptop as part of it. I’d like a gaming laptop that can handle wow but not have such a high price tag that the owner is like “whoa no way”!

I requested an approximate budget (around $1,000 USD) and I get to request a specific laptop.

What would you choose?

Try HP Omen, and upgrade it to 16GB RAM.

Another option is Lenovo Legion 5, also needs you to upgrade the RAM.

If you have costco this one is great. You save almost 300$ atm. They are also often in stock in the store. FYI so you can walk in and see it. This is your best bang for your buck. This would be 400$ more at a place like best buy
