On top of that Gilneas is a hellhole of phasing and if people wanted to regularly RP there it becomes a chore to do the quest chains. Even though they are old and very easy to do they take some time and many people are just simply too lazy and inaccessible for it.
Sarestha and Zheco point out why Gilneas isn’t feasible, but do you two have a suggestion to add?
I still support Deathknell overall - think it’s got a diversity of buildings, it’s well fortified, and it’s close to Tiristfal and the Undercity. OOC-wise it’s not far from the portal either.
The only issue could be which phase we actually use it in, as it’s available in both. If you want an unphased location I’d suggest Tarren Mill - as the next longest-term Forsaken base.

Anzl has been doing a ton of work looking for spots for Night Lords to hang out. Currently we use Andorhal. However some of the other spots we looked into were
Shadowfang Keep. If you fly over the wall it you can hang out in the courtyard and ramparts.

If you want to include lore-plausibility for the survivors of Tirisfal to escape to? It’s pretty much Deathknell, Sepulcher, and the Hillsbrad settlements. I’d be shocked if it turns out the Forsaken still canonically control Andorhal after BfA, since we see certain neutral powers from Lordaeron fighting for the Alliance at Stromgarde.

Pyrewood is in Silverpine, not too far away and has 10 buildings many furnished. I like going there, personally. From my own experience, and others’ input, I don’t believe there is phasing unless you are on the quests with the Shadowfang Three.
I do like the Deathknell and Sepulcher as well, though. Having undead rp all over the map would be so cool, too.
Pyrewood also has phasing issues(a guild I was in required you to not do the quests in pyrewood so it wouldn’t be on fire) but as far as I’m aware you can use the party sync function to fix that I think.
Once you have completed the quests, it is no longer on fire. It’s just on fire during the quests. I was just there yesterday, quests long completed.
