I would have liked this remix to serve to recover removed or canceled content for future remix expansion content as it was in Cataclysm the Abysal Maw raid in Vashj’ir, or Wintergrasp and Isle of Conquest Air mounts combat.
As also in MoP that MOBA BG Zone.
There really are many things that help make the remix the best of that content.
I want this so bad. People would understand his character beyond BfA and onwards if they got to do his Cata and MoP questlines.
This is really cool especially when compared to blunderstorm. I wonder how it’ll be, hopefully it has the “event” vibe over it and not just mop classic. I’d be lying if I said I’m not a little hyped for this, I’m just concerned in the various ways they might mess this whole thing up. Really neat however.
So I’m forced to level a new character to do this event or can I use an existing one? After the event, can I then transfer it to my main realm (that’s full)?
Even better. You get toys that give you MoP wings for 8 hours.
You won’t have to xmog the cloaks, you’ll get wings as a buff regardless of your xmog.

Hm. At least according to WoWhead, some of the more interesting transmogs (for me) seem to come from just doing the campaigns. And not even super crazy to do.
I’m intrigued more.
Would characters have DF skills or original MoP ones?

I don’t know if this was addressed anywhere or not, but a small part of me wishes this would include the old challenge dungeons and mog.
There’s a possibility.
There’s a recolored phoenix mount and mention of “class ensembles.” I have a feeling we won’t get the original sets but one of the datamined recolors.

Yep! I want that white phoenix mount. I have the four originals and that one looks way better. I love the colors and I know exactly which character I would use it on.

How about, to make this event better, release what you have done for the new race and class combos, if you even care about that anymore, give players the ability to level one of these new race and class combos with this event.
This is great. PLEASE do not mess it up for people playing on the same BNET account. ALLOW us to make characters on our own WoW accounts and play together on the SAME BNET account! It was such a lost opportunity with Plunderstorm…

Out of curiosity, is that possible in the normal game now?
One would think Blizzard would want people playing together at the same time to have two separate accounts, not share an existing one.

It is possible and has been for many years. You have one Battle Net account, but you have multiple paid WoW account subscriptions on that same umbrella account.
Basically, it allows you to share progression with someone you play with often like a partner, family member, or extremely close friend. This works well if you are possibly the main person who plays various BNET games but the other person just joins on WoW. This is exactly the way my partner and I are, myself being the main person who does everything.
There’s never been an issue until Plunderstorm, where they, for some odd reason, decided to use BNET instead of WoW accounts…
