Under Development: WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria

LOL. Stop trolling. It’s embarrassing.

Yeah it sounded like you get slots apart from retail, but the article mentioned that you’d get to keep the stuff earned.
“* Keep what you collect: Take your collection of transmogs with you into The War Within.”

But it doesn’t state if that will just be automatic or only once a character you created gets converted as this wording says.
“All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event.”

So unless everything earned automatically transfers to the main account (not taking into account if the remix hits against your account cap) then yeah I’ll have to delete someone.

I think EQ has been doing it for 25 years.

Meridian 59 is still going lmao.

Oh man, 32 mounts! That would be an easy way to push me over 800 mounts! Just in time for the 800 mount achievement coming in 2035

One of the achievements has an LFR wing listed as a requirement for completion, so I’m guessing LFR will indeed be a thing.

Always wanted one of those phoenix mounts, glad they had a (better) recolor lying around :dracthyr_love_animated:

But how relevant is EQ or any other mmo on the market that hasn’t tried to evolve? The game landscape has changed. MMOs aren’t the “in thing” anymore when WoW hit its stride, and let’s be honest Blizzard doesn’t have the track record of being the gold standard for games for a good long while now. I can’t blame them for throwing things at the wall to see what sticks in an effort to keep their dead genre game out of the grave.

I have no idea. I stopped playing EQ 20 years ago (the day I started playing WoW.)

I’m STILL not a fan of these things

True but, you actually get to keep these characters after the event is over. It seems like it’s going to be a quick way to level alts similar to the Legion Invasions in the Legion prepatch.

Yes. They said that in order for you to patriciate, all you needed was a wow sub, which is exactly how plunderstorm operates.

How am I trolling? Please explain to me what new content is introduced with this event?

Some of the CM set recolors look better than the ones that were put into the game.

Yeah, not from me. My criticism is consistent. As you say this is more of the same and has almost all of the same problems as Plunderfail. But the fact that so many people don’t seem to see it is worrisome. I guess it’s how Blizzard are able to get away with so much bad design and low effort gimmicks. If my customers were willing to put up with it I wouldn’t bother to give them actual content either.

Yep cant wait to see what these items are!

Unlike Plunderstorm (didnt do it at all) I am 100% excited for this

I think the majority will agree with this sentiment

INTERESTING

I’m watching Asmon (don’t judge me) and he just pointed out you won’t be able to use the AH.

This is in addition to season 4 in retail. Seems like it’s a huge incentive to level alts. People are always talking about alts and leveling alts.

Plus if we at least get recolors of the MoP CM sets, I literally won’t care and throw my money at this.

I think they just want to make sure everyone starts on an equal playing field.

Fully excited about this but would like to see two things:

  • Added Character Slots. I know this was pulled from the release, but just bump us up to 100 or remove limitation altogether. With new races coming in the next expansion, 60 isn’t nearly enough.
  • New Race/Class Combos. I’m specifically interested in Forsaken, Void Elf, and Kul Tiran Paladins. But this is also a great time to add Pandaren Druids.

Thank you.

But I wonder if they’re keeping it off.
