Under Development: WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria

This looks really cool? But where is the Traders Tender for it? You did it for the Spellbreak BR Recycled content, why not for this? Only fair for those who like Mists and dont like BR.

oh yeah I like where this is all going for we orcs!

BLIZZARD DO HEAR US, WE ORCS, WANT ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY REVAMP REMIX OF KOR’KORN!!!

YOU LET US PLAY SILLY BUGGERS WITH DARK LADY, BUT NOW NOW LET US HAVE CHOICE WORK FOR KOR’KORN!!!

Shame this will be with retail class design. The best part of MoP was the class design.

I only unlocked it on the classes i was playing at the time. But I am definitely seizing the opportunity to get it on the rest of the classes now!

This sounds really great.

A one off run through MoP, with some shiny new gear bits, laying waste to the enemies.

It gives rewards that carry forward into the normal game. It’s a great “Season 4 filler”.

Obviously all of the zones will be scaled, which is a bit of a shame, but I understand. I remember as a fresh 90 working through the Dread Wastes how it was actually a bit dangerous.

Shame I don’t really care much for the MoP dungeons, but, no worries. I can just not do those.

Great experiment.

This looks a lot better than Plunderstorm, but it sucks that we can’t do any of it on our mains. Why so much focus on new experimental side games? The main goal of a MMORPG is to level a character and make it more powerful. Forcing us to make new temporary characters for these new games is bad.

The accelerated leveling makes it seem like they want players to try various characters, giving Remix mode a replay value. However, players will be chasing tons of xmogs, which means they’ll need to spend a lot of time on each armor type at least to collect everything.
The FOMO whining is going to reach peak values in Remix

How cool would it be if we orcs got a quest line that explained why we turned against Garrosh in the end. Of course, lots of Kor’kron stuff and dungeons too.

I am guessing it’s like a beta-test to see how the playerbase responds. They are hopefully gathering data on what we like to take the game into the next direction.

Honestly, if there was some sort of indication that these events would return periodically, I might be a little more open to the prospect of filler events like this. But without that indication, all it does it leave a sour taste in my mouth.

May be an opportunity to introduce the Armor Type free transmog that we’re getting in WW.

The characters you level in this event are going to be transferred to Retail once it’s over. They’re not temporary.

Is this all?

I assume this is Blizzard trying to convert players who tried Plunderstorm to Retail but uhh… yeah, I dunno. Do Battle Royale players really want to level up in Mists of Pandaria? Maybe I’ll try this with one character if I can go through the whole thing in a few hours or what-not but beyond that, eh.

Was hoping for more dynamic content.

I’m more curious if this signals that Blizzard is planning to end their Classic campaign with Catacylsm and/or if this is some gauge of metric in interest in MoP.

I realize that. I am advocating for REAL content, this isn’t that. I was merely saying that there is nothing inherently wrong in having content droughts and that putting new lipstick on an old pig— err I guess panda in this case, doesn’t make it new.

It IS low effort though and it ISN’T something new to do. It’s something old to do again.

That’s a weird way to spell “I don’t want them to add things I don’t personally like and will quit the game in protest”

That’s a weird way to spell “I didn’t read the article and have no idea what they’re doing, but wanted to crap out some opinions anyways”

I don’t see a problem in blizzard giving me a new reason to revisit an expansion I haven’t played in years.

The characters and the xmogs, but doesnt seem like any of the cool customizable items are coming with them.

I’m just tired of timed events. Add things to wow so we can play em don’t sit there beating us with sticks and carrots just to boost your metrics. Make a good game worth playing not one you have to time lock your players into playing to keep up.

The idea is a good idea, just like Plunderstorm, its that its timed thats the problem. Blizzard needs to make things that will actually last and be valuable and not fomo.

They need to respect their players time and effort again.

Seriously. I am burned out of plunderstorm. Fun mode. But burned out now. Feels like I am doing rank 14 pvp grind or somethin. And I am not grindin pandaria like that.

Also, permanent wrath classic. I want that progression realm up now. With loot you can trade in for rewards in retail. That would be sweet.

Love the idea, we’ll see if I love the implementation. With warbands coming, I don’t see much problem having it be a separate character (you will make the items warbound, right?). Also, I do hope there’s a war-mode option.
