I want to level a character for acquiring leather transmog (and other general wow things) but I don’t know if I want to level a monk or a rogue. for some reason when it comes to making undead I make monks and never level them out of the starter zone due to my general dislike of the undead starting zone and its aesthetics. rougues are fun when you have a lot of abilities but idk about early game though. thoughts and suggestions?
You have more options with monks seeing how you could roll or healer a tank or DPS you collect a lot of gear a lot of transmog gear
Rogues can be fun but honestly I feel like there toolkit is pretty limited in my opinion I never really liked leveling rogues I just got bored with it

A little rouge will give your undead a nice bit of color on his cheeks 
Rogue is best class imo.

Rogue if you’re a degenerate shut in. Monks if you like to group fight / group activities.

Well, I wear my colours on my sleeve in that regard, but Monks are so social these days (especially in M+)
Even if I’m in a battleground I still feel like a solo player on my Rogue cuz I’m always stealthing around for objectives.
I can’t rem the last time I did a team fight lol

ok so from what I’ve seen rogues are good in pvp and don’t have to engage in as many social encounters as monk, while monk is a much more social class with flexibility. both seem like valid options but I think I slightly leaning upon rogue due to the uniqueness of bein a little sneak but monks versatility is also rather enticing
Monk. It’s cooler than rogue.
If female undead, go rogue for the flip-stab animation.

So you have the option to be undead rogue number 29472827817382 or undead monk number 6?
IMO if transmog is the goal of this alt and you mostly play this priest (say), go Monk. Monks can wield staves, so any you happen to get while running old stuff for leather transmog would unlock for your casters as well.
If you’ve already gotten all of the weapons though, its up to you. I happen to prefer monk, but the playstyles are wildly different, so its your call.
I like my undead rogue, she looks awesome and fits the race. I like the way my undead stabs too.

I have an undead rogue and she is the bees knees! I mean, yeah, she didn’t come thru the back-to-life process quite all there, and maybe calling her kooky is a kindly spin but she’s fun!
Because them punching animals in the nose looks so stupid? Especially when they have weapons on their back that would make more sense to use?
(Sorry, my only monk died in a terrible training accident and it still upsets me when I think about it.)

I have redone my undead rogue twice thru the starting zone and the Silverpine Forest (forgot to stop xp at lvl 20) and enjoyed it both times. 
we have stealth, right?
