I thought the same thing! Guess she was buried from the neck down, head was exposed to daily beauty routines by bored ferrets I guess. 
Since she came back, her face is the only part of her appearance she’s bothered to keep up with.
Mostly because a decaying face takes 97% more time to take care of than a living one so she doesn’t have time for the rest.
If the face was more undead like while still retaining some of the pretty, and the eyes, then I’d consider this for a tattoo, that’s how much I like it.
