Undead Plate Boots not Showing Toes

On the undead male model, toes are not visible when wearing any of the big “stomper” boots.

Have verified with other players that they’re not visible on my character either.

I recently race changed; not sure if that would have any bearing.

I’ve noticed this as well. Seems to affect plate more than any other armor class, and having bony, mottled or fresh “skin type” seems to make no difference.

It’s still this way on 10.1.7 PTR as well. Looks like it isn’t getting fixed anytime soon.

This affects female undead as well. As Lichesandhos said, toes are missing when wearing the “stomper” boot models. Some of these boot models can be found in all armor types, but plate is the most affected.

Pandaren might be affected too. I haven’t played a pandaren enough to really know if the toes are missing or if the boots are supposed to fully cover them. I see all the other boot models with exposed pandaren toes, but the same ones where undead toes go missing are the same ones where pandaren don’t have their toes. Again, I don’t know if that’s normal for pandaren.

These are some of the boot models affected

Two more slighty different plate models:

Ah, I didn’t see this topic when I posted mine but yes this seems to be a very recent bug. I hope Blizzard notices this and fixes it, especially since the upcoming patch is going to be Forsaken-relevant

Yep. I’m seeing the same issue on my Forsaken DK.

Ye olde bumparino.

I get that my character is rotting and all but can we maybe put some super glue on my feet and reattach my toes please?

Looks like this bug extends even to the wow armory

Yeah they seemed to have broken something along the way with the recent patch.

Also giving this thread a bump. Has there been any official response to this yet? I know sometimes I see bugs on the support website listed but I haven’t checked for this one.

Still bugged lmao

I’m still wondering if it’s an intentional change with VERY unintentional side effects. They seem very reluctant to fix the issue and it appears very on track to remain an issue throughout all of 10.1.7.

It could simply be a bug, but I wonder if it may have been an attempt at optimizing performance by having certain boots meshes hide feet meshes and they just didn’t consider what would happen on Undead models or when the boots appearances affected would be used with robes.

Regardless, it’s an annoying visual issue.

I have indeed been robbed of my grippers upon the stomper boots. This is deeply upsetting.

Still not fixed sadly. Here’s hoping the fix is included with the next major patch!

Unfortunately it seems the bug isn’t getting fixed for 10.1.7. We’ll likely have to wait and see if 10.2 fixes the issue.

One would think that a visual bug for Undead would be fixed in the same patch as their heritage armor, but they still haven’t even fixed female Undead toes for non-bony skin types.

Bumping this thread. Give my rogue his toes back, Blizz!

Can someone check the new PTR to see if they’ve finally fixed this bug?

They did apply a fix, but not the one that most people would have likely expected. The “big stomper boots” model was changed to cover Undead toes, so it currently looks like this has been a deliberate change that hadn’t been finished until 10.2 PTR. Not sure if the boots covering Undead toes is intentional or not, but at least it’s better than the boots cutting off the toes entirely.

It looks like they might have also fixed the bug causing “big stomper boots” to hide feet when equipped with robes.

My toes are still missing.

My toes are still gone, my feet look super goofy because there’s not even a boot where the toes should be half of the foot is missing.
