Undead paladins when?
Why isn’t this a thing yet?
Undead paladins when?

They’re slowly breaking class restrictions. Give it time
This is something I’ve wanted since Vanilla.
With Calia now being part of the Forsaken lore wise you could put something in there with light wielding undead or even Leonid Barthalomew who is with the Argent Dawn/Crusade who was a paladin.
And I know the Light hurts the Undead when using it, but make a zealotry type group that thinks the pain is atonement for what Sylvanas got them into.
The fact that Orcs (greenskins) can learn to be Priests, I think it’s about time Undead got the Pallys.
I’d say “Never, because it makes no sense.” but Forsaken Holy Priests kind of pull the rug out from under that argument.
He was a paladin in life, but we’ve never seen any evidence of him wielding holy magic or whatever in undeath.
That’s an understatement.
If you’ve ever read up on their original vanilla intentions originally they planned to only let undead be shadow and not learn holy spells. They also had undead be completely immune to sap, fear, poly. For obvious reasons gameplay ended up trumping that kind of design.
I think at this point the wow universe is so expansive and they can basically make up any lore they want to accommodate for everything. NE mages aren’t supposed to exist either if memory serves and the whole cows are now holy because of worshipping the sun.
Sadomasochist paladins. I like it.
Let me get human druids and shamans first.
And yes I know Kul Tiran can be both.
Player’s will scream lore wise that the Light burns undead and causes them extreme pain. However, it has been shown that with enough will they can over come the pain to wield it.
Than there is the lightbound undead that could be a new skin choice for undead and be exclusively for Priests Paladins.
I keep imagining Undead Paladins casting Turn Evil and then running away in fear.
‘Why does these keep happening?’ they ask to the Priest who is resurrecting them for the 15th time that week due to them being killed while feared.
Sir Zeliek. That is all. Actually thats not all… The Risen. If they can do it, surely the HERO OF THE STORY can do it.
Well, first the paladins have to die…
I cannot remember seeing one die.

the fact that light forged draenei and night elves can be warlocks speaks volumes.
All other lore went out the window. They might as well allow this. Or is “this” where they draw the line

Priests wield the light, paladins are infused with it. That has always been what differentiated the two.
I think the real justification one can make for Undead Paladins is that we have them in the game already in the form of the risen scarlet NPC’s in Stratholme and the fact that anyone can make a BE pally and use the Darkfallen skin.
Not a single class/race combination they’ve written has broken the lore.
You just don’t like the new lore they’ve written. Get over it.
Lore-wise it’s logical that the Forsaken would be Paladins as they were once human. Now, admittedly, it was Alliance were Paladins and Horde Shaman, however, now that’s no longer the case, Forsaken Paladins should have been a thing a long time ago.
TL/DR: Forsaken Paladins are long overdue!

You’re spot on. I don’t like it and the fact that you stand behind sneaky cows and panda locks proves you are just a casual enjoyer. Holding hands with our factions seems like something you support too huh?
