The legs at the knees look pretty bad… like you can clearly see the old model and that the connection is definitely not even remotely seamless. Like they just shoved a cover in there but didn’t brush it up in photoshop.
I really hope they retouch that.
All Death Knights are better preserved than Forsaken.
I feel old now tyvm. or should I just feel like an alien from Chicago? lol
That’s just a model viewer issue. WoW character meshes are packaged with variations for every body part, so when opened “raw,” it looks like they’re wearing every piece of armor (besides helms/shoulders) and hair.
The pics are showing both types of knees at the same time since they’re basically putting meshes together with duct tape in real time on the stream before figuring out the new data headers and hierarchies.
I’ve been asking this, seems super relevant and from what I’m reading players are assuming armor will remain intact. I just haven’t seen anything about it yet.
Stompypotato is on the case though, and might get back to us on this.
I’m assuming gear will be normal on a fleshed out undead.
Now if only we can get rid of the hunch, my army of undead toons will make even my blood elf jealous.
Lol I’m 54 so I doubt you’re older than me. I have a wide taste in music, just grew up listening to mostly country, and then when we got cable back in the early 80s I discovered music by the Cars, and Tom Petty, Queen, Annie Lennox, my world was changed lol.
My current favorite song is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv29DzgiXZA I really like the Hu Band, being Norwegian I also tried Scandinavian metal although it’s a little creepy for me. I also love the Who, Eric Clapton, musicians like Matisyahu, and Imagine Dragons, I also like Sean Mendes a lot. After that most of today’s singers start to blend together for me, I don’t really know who’s who.

We veterans of the third war were changed into death knights much sooner than the average citizen of Lordaeron. Being hand picked by Instructor Razuvius for resurrection.
Canonically you’re a human of Stormwind and a veteran of Vanilla-BC
I don’t disagree that the roleplay is a better idea though.
We death knights have a talent called veteran of the third war. The new AR death knights have the same talent only it’s called veteran of the fourth war.
Yes true we are from elwynn forest but it’s doesn’t specifically say when. Only that we grew up there. It’s heavily implied we were factionless members of the Argent Dawn who died near light’s hope chapel and were subsequently harvested by the scourge.
If the timeline is still confusing, here’s Forsaken Death Knight, the same exact generation:
Antoine Brack says: You don’t remember me, do you? We were humans once - long, long ago - until Lordaeron fell to the Scourge. Your transformation to a Scourge zombie came shortly after my own. Not long after that, our minds were freed by the Dark Lady.
Antoine Brack says: A pact was made, <brother/sister>! We vowed vengeance against the Lich King! For what he had done to us! We battled the Scourge as Forsaken, pushing them back into the plaguelands and freeing Tirisfal! You and I were champions of the Forsaken!
not that it has any bearing on this conversation but my personal RP has vermissa referring to herself as the twice damned. Being a lordaeron guard named Vanessa Stonepath who was killed by arthas’ ghouls and raised as a particularly well preserved forsaken who later joined the argent dawn, as one does, who is then killed again only to be resurrected a second time as Vermissa the Death knight.
Perhaps i’m getting my lore confused but wasn’t the scourge invasion the third war? the first two being the sacking of stormwind in Warcraft then second war in Warcraft 2 and the dark portal expansion?
Yes it was, and you’re not confused, they probably are. I’m as upset with the implication that Forsaken DK’s were somehow raised twice.
I should probably mention that Vermissa started out as a forsaken DK until BFA where she reconnected with her alliance roots (faction swap) even got to keep the same hairstyle and colour
There are undead faces without eyes. But my point is that, if you can be reanimated without a jaw, some bones showing aren’t a big deal either.
With that said, I’m happy about the new customization options and will use them on my DK. Bones poking through armor makes no sense.
There’s only one place I have seen Undead with pink hair. And it wasn’t a family friendly site.
Gotta wonder what inspired that choice.
