Can i see some warrior mogs that dont look silly. The shoulders being smaller and sitting weirdly on the shoulder bones as well as the helm being bigger than the shoulder pads makes a lot of the sets look strange.
I feel that the races with severe hunches (troll, undead, tauren, hunched orcs), there are a lot of helms that look really bad on them. Mainly helms which have some sore of hanging/collar element (like the one your troll is wearing right now). With the head being jutted way out in front of the body, these elements don’t align with the neck, shoulders, and chest the way they should.
I only have two plate wearing Forsaken but I’ll post both so you can see their current mogs. This warrior is the first of the two.
This DK is the second and his current mog is non-DK specific plate though I typically use the Naxx DK set. The helms in both these sets work really well because they don’t have anything beneath the chin dangling way out in front of the body and looking out of place or clipping with your arms and weapons during combat.
Generally speaking, helms look bad in this game. The tier 4 set from entry level bc raid looks decent though. Its the one i use when om not using my current mog.
Thank you for replying my dude, I like the DK mog. It looks nice. My main concern with undead is how the geography of shoulders can sometimes place their contact point at the tip of the shoulder bone which looks stupid. But ive definitely seen some wicked cool Undead running around in my time.
The race change looks good on you! I remember back when I mained an orc warrior, one of the shoulder blades always clipped into the orcs shoulderblade, used to drive me nuts. Same with the old Belf models (might be on current Belfs too, not sure), where the shoulder plates would sit way far back on the model and basically half the shoulder armor would be hovering behind them. Then Nightborne have the issue of massive shoulders that throw their entire proportions way out of whack. WoW has definitely had it’s share of issues with shoulder armor placement and scaling.
I like this Nighthold set, it sits well on an undead IMO.
I’m a fan of the S1 set, sans helm and cloak
IDK if it will be updated, but i really like the MoP pvp helm (blue) with the matching boots, mixed with the rest of the relentless set. Including the 2h axes for fury. This is my horde alt warrior so i dont really play it.
I’m always a fan of the Tier 5 and 6. Hard to wear a helmet though on this highmountain.
Undead warriors spend a lot of time looking like BMX bike racers.
i used to have a really good undead mog, a little on the nose though
