Lorash Sunbeam, a Blood Elf rogue who died during the War of Thorns, is raised by Sylvanas in 8.1. She also raises fallen Night Elves as new Dark Rangers. With these new undead elves joining the Horde, it begs the question what future undead races might become playable? Undead Blood Elves would be an obvious choice. They could have undead skin tones and varying levels of decay like Forsaken do. This would give more variety to undead fans while not being just a Blood Elf reskin. Allow them to be hunters and Horde players finally get to have the Dark Ranger fantasy we've always wanted. Thoughts?
My only thought is yes please.
But OP you're an undead elf. So you're living proof that they are already in the game.
I'd kinda like for them to just be barber shop options for the Forsaken, instead of a distinct race.
But then, I've wanted radically more variety in Forsaken body types for years. The biggest one on my list is, I want a Forsaken warrior who's literally an Abomination, like the city guards we've seen all over. They're part of the Forsaken, why can't we play 'em?
(EDIT: And we've already seen other Forsaken elves too. Like the backup singers during the "Lament of the Highborn" event.)

Yes, but right now they are restricted to only 1 class. Undead elves as an allied race means access to more classes.

My only thought it PLEASE no, the Night Elves have suffered more than enough already.
Have your undead edgelord blood elves, I don't care.

Such as? They couldn't be any class related to nature or the light. Leaving only the standard classes normal elves can already play. Seems pointless to add another group of elves and their only selling point is they died and were brought back. Forsaken fill that spot already perfectly.
So Lorash gets raised? I hope he gets developed in game. Dude is balls to the wall nuts thinking he can one shot Malfurion. Gotta love confidence so high that it skews reality.

This is a very ironic post coming from a Dark Iron Dwarf...

You do know that the Dark Iron had paladins in their ranks as far back as vanilla right?
Undead Night Elves betraying Sylvanas for the Alliance and undead Blood Elves for the Horde?
More Elves? MORE ELVES!
More Elves? MORE ELVES!

Aren't they allied to the Lich King?
Not anymore since the one that controlled them is actually dead (Arthas)
So we'll get Undead Paladins, and Druids afterall...
The forsaken “race” should essentially be any other race that died and was raised. It seemed silly that they have always been human.
In the beginning perhaps because i think they are supposed to be the people of Lorderon, but once Sylvannas aquired the Valkir it should have changed.
Makes sense lorewise, maybe there is a mechanic reason it isn’t in the game.
