sylvanas is the last true high ranking elf alive or undead left she should control quelthalas IMO or until kael does. sylvanas was of a noble line.
I sort’ve feel kael’thas may be different and sort’ve turn over a new leaf too. He’s been trapped there for awhile and has a sin stone he needs to repent with, unless they just make him a whole “nah screw that, this sucks. help me out so I can help you.”
Kinda curious as to how they will write them. But yeah, I’m sure he’d have a good following.
I’d like to get questionable characters back like Kael’thas for the horde and Grommash Hellscream for the alliance. I wonder how illidan will react when he sees him.

blizzard screwed him over and a lot of characters its why I think they don’t plan on killing off sylvanas or any of the popular leaders.
I just want to throw money at Blizzard . I want an undead elf or San’layn elf .

Sorry to hear that . I have been messing around on other realms till shadowlands comes out . I just might make a Blood Dk Blood Elf . Getting ready for Shadowlands .
i been playing skyrim mostly as a vampire lord i got a mod that brings me back intime its a fun mod you should try it wheels of lull if i im correct is its name might have been one of the others. its a quest mod DLC size.

my race is nord fem due to the massive amount of mods that let me alter the looks and the elves in the elderscrolls are ugly.
That wouldn’t work. Because you’d have to create multiple types of skeletons for their bodies. You’d have to create customization options for each of them. You’d have to make sure gear sat on them. You’d have to create racials for each undead group. That’s way too much for an allied race. WAY too much.

Seriously. It’s becoming obnoxious by now. We have too many types of elves already.
Now that said, I would be ok with a Forsaken version of the Blood Elves. Or actually bringing in the San’layn.

It would be better as a Forsaken skin option / true sub race to be honest.
Not quite unique enough for an allied race, not quite close enough for a forsaken customization. But it makes a lot of lore sense. There were a LOT of dead elves raised into the Scourge. Touch up the Withered elf model to look more elf like, give it some custom stuff and that would do it.
That I think would have been the better option instead of doing Allied Races. Provide “unlocks” for customization options.
IE Nightborne could have been done (for example) as a Blood Elf option. Light Forged Draenei would have been a Draenei option. Dark Iron Dwarf … you get the picture.
EDIT: maybe not as lore friendly, but I think it would have worked better for the most part.
I half agree with you, but races like Dark Iron Dwarves and Nightborn were actually already races in the game with territory, lore, etc.
Things like Forsaken elves exist within the universe, but not within the game world, so it would make more sense to tack them on to existing Forsaken instead of making them an actual race. Playable race usually indicates a separate / unique culture. Undead elves would just be undead elves. Probably freed during WC3 and already working within the Forsaken, like the Dark Rangers.
