Undead customization request

The classic undead model is cool and all, but they’re rotting because they’re undead from the disease used… That being said, the “new” undead starting zone quest raises you into undeath using magic. Like Sylvanas. Like the dark rangers.

The reason Sylvanas and the other undead elves don’t rot is because they were raised using magic, which infused their bodies. Just like the Death Knights.

That being said… I don’t think undead should look like normal humans either. They should definitely have an Addams family vibe. So my requests are thus:

Upright back options.

Pallid skin tones and thinner frames, but still less skeletal than what we have now.

I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head, but I want spoopy non-rotting undead humans please lol.

There are 3 types of Forsaken, clean, rotten and decayed (with bones showing).
All it seems you’re really asking for is an upright option.

Incidentally, the Forsaken weren’t Elves, they were Human.

So essentially Zuldazar undead guards . I don’t mind.

Where did I say they were elves? Oh, literally nowhere in the main post?? Whodathunk it?!

The new undead humans are raised the same way the undead elves were. In other words, they’re not supposed to rot like the original forsaken.

I just want facial hair for my Forsaken

Upright Forsaken. I support this.

You pointed to Sylvannas and Dark Rangers as examples, and they are Elves.
As such, the reason Sylvannas and the others “don’t rot” is probably because they are Elves.

Only Undead customisation we really need is straight back option.

They are fairly upright now, just a slight slouch and bent a bit at the knee. Look fine to me.

So you are asking for a slightly dead look. Hmm, I dunno…

I did not know till you made that comment that I wanted this. I now want this.

It sounds like he basically wants skinny Kul’Tirans with DK skin tones.

Sort of, yes.

Funnily, I just made a Forsaken to check on the looks atm, and when I ticked on randomized name, it offered me Marie. I mean…nobody had Marie?

So yes, now I have a Frosaken Warlock called Marie who I just can’t delete 'cause…doesn’t seem right.

Personally, I feel one of the Forsaken’s great strengths in their visual design is that they ARE all rotting and skeletal horrors. None of this sparkly, pretty-boy, Twilight stuff. They are cursed for eternity and it damn well shows. Making them “human but pale” would just strip all that away for something so… dull.

That said, I can’t claim to be against upright undead anymore. I used to gripe about it with orcs, but honestly it’s been around so long it really does look normal for them.

Long beards or no top of the head brain exposed options.

Considering the chinese forsaken already exist and would just be an import, it should be a thing. The standing skeleton rigging is likely also a thing. Just use a human rig.

blizzard please add cool facial hair options for the skeleton characters but cool options not lame ones

I agree that having an upright option for undead characters would be great, as not every undead needs to be hunched over. Just my two cents. Additionally, since elves were among the first undead converted by Arthas, it would be interesting to have the option to change the races of the undead. I understand that some people might not want this, but I think it would be a cool feature. Furthermore, it would be nice to introduce a “Banshee” class or hero talent that allows for a non-rotting version of your character.
