Having same issue on the Sargeras realm. This needs to be fixed!

Having the same issue. Can drop and retake quest but this does not seem to fix anything. Keep getting the No Loot message.

Same issue, same chest, same tries to reload, restart, abandon and redo quest, etc. Runetotem in this case. Cannot complete quest.
Same issue on Alterac Mountains. First chest worked, second chest gave “There is no loot” message. Abandoned quest and took it again and now the first chest gives the “There is no loot” message.

First time playing since patch… everything seems to be working other than this quest. 0/3 All say “there is no loot”
First character doing these quests, all three chests give “there is no loot” error. Perenolde server.
Cannot loot any of the chests. First time logging into this patch was tonight.

Same issue - get “There is no loot.” The first time, I was able to loot 2/3 chests, now on subsequent attempts after dropping the quest, all chests say “no loot.”
- Have disabled addons
- Dropped and retaken the quest several times
- Tried taking off my ring, also removing gems to see if any difference
Cannot move forward in the campaign, cannot get the item to upgrade the ilvl of my ring.
I have the “no loot” bug for all 3 chests.
Same issue for me - I finally get around to this quest the Thursday after the patch hoping the bugs are smoothed out… and I can’t even progress the quest.
I tried relogging, dropping the quest and getting it again….
It was my first go through on my Paladin.
I was hoping there would be an Alt skip so I could get rings on my Alts… but I can’t even get to that point.
I guess I have to do everything on another Character and hope it doesn’t bug out in order to access the Alt skip?
I collected the first two chests when I played on Tuesday, now today (Thursday) I get to the 3rd chest (gravesite) and I’m getting the “There is no loot” message. (-_-)
I tried reloading, relogging etc. Nothing worked.
Can’t open any of the chests. Can find them but then get the “There is no loot” message when searching. Womp womp.
Well, I looked on the internet, stumbled on the EU WoW forums where people are having this issue.
Someone linked to a WoWhead comments section, where they suggested turning on/off war mode.
I always play with Warmode off… I dropped the quest, went to Dornagol, turned on Warmode, logged off, logged back in, picked up the quest….
And it worked!
As a PvE player, it was maddening getting murdered just trying to do a quest. I wanted to wear a sign that said “please don’t hurt me blizzard messed up a quest I don’t want to be in Warmode!”
Anyway I got killed a few times but at least I was able to complete the quest.
So, maybe switching your war mode status will work for you, too.
I was struggling with this as well, but I managed to get it fixed. Oddly all I did was hearth back to Dornogal with the quest still active. The quest then changes to include talking to the zeppelin pilot to go back to the island. After doing that I was able to loot the chest.
