Doubtful this is what it was, unless it was in a BG. And if it was a BG, you were AFK for quite a while to get banned. And if you got banned for 8 days, this likely isnât your first offense.

yes i have gone to the bathroom times when i was doing long BG streaks and usually come back 10 - 30 seconds late after gate break but i have not afked in the middle of the bg

and yes people who afk in BGâs should be punished, but to ban someone for 8 days that they have paid for is going too far, what they should do is get a PVP deserters debuff, that would be more than enough. But Blizzard will always try their best at the money angle, their number 1 priority is sucking as much subscription time out of you as thy can get and they show here they will even do that with policy.

To get to a ban from AFKâing, take a WHOLE LOT of reports and ongoing behavior despite being removed from BGs for it. It requires a pattern of AFK behavior.
Youâre welcome to appeal it (as posting about account actions is also against the rules) and if itâs upheld then the logs donât support your âI just had to peeâ story. It means that youâre afkâing all the time and your fellow players donât appreciate it.
They do and when itâs ignored it turns into an 8 day suspension. And if the OP continues to not care to participate, Iâm sure the punishments will increase.

well assuming most people were getting mad at me for sitting on FC too thats also prob where a lot of the reports come from on top of the gate thing. I have mostly gotten angry messages from sitting D so unless that is a bannable offence and with the gate thing then idk. Would love to know about these logs and how i was afking lol.
-also do crashes count as afk i have had crashed a couple of times so would that be on top of it
