One of my characters has three unclaimed rewards from seeds that are nowhere to be found on the ground, but prevent me from contributing any more seeds to that location. Locations are lavatouched lilies, fuzzy licorice, and singing weedling. (It is not just an addon malfunction, but thankfully the addon more easily helps me track the issues. I also had the same problem on another character prior to downloading the seed addon.)
Yeah I am having problems with that as well. The chest doesn’t show up for me so I leave and today I went to an area to do a quest and there is a chest waiting for me days later.

Thanks for adding your experience! I’ll be sure to check those spots tomorrow. I do seem to recall randomly encountering other seed chests on the ground with a few flightstones in them.
I have had that happen to me on a couple of nodes but flew around and noticed a chest that I was able to loot, and some that even showed up had nothing in them.

I have checked after a couple days and these still do not have any chests nearby and I still cannot contribute to the new seed growing in that spot. I’m also now having an issue on both characters who’ve been on the seed grind for the whole week and brand new characters not getting adequate rewards from what is put into the seed. Sometimes I will find a random chest without many rewards in it in a place I don’t recall putting it, and not in a place that is limiting me from planting or contributing new seeds.
Perhaps with the extended maintenance going on that they might be fixing some of these issues without letting us know
