I completed my hardcore challenge with self found and I lost my unbroken buff and can not get it back
It looks like you simply turned off the Soul of Iron by accident when you turned off Self-Found. If you head back to the Apprentice Watcher in the Library in Ironforge, you should be able to turn it back on.
