Imagine having the personality type that allows you to stalk a thread so you can gloat over other people for sinking dozens of hours into the event before it breaks. Then you continue to come back to the same thread to argue with as many people as you can…

The event will run till Dragon Flight goes live at 6pm EDT/3pm PDT so you have 11 hours till to go with the event…

Most certainly is BROKEN, not a single air storm on Illidan since Thanksgiving Day.
Haven’t found a person who can link the achievement in chat on my server since then either. It’s always completed on or before the 25th.

they did eventually come up, 2 fire one earth. Maint is in 3 hours though, so this is for sure last cycle
Fingers crossed that during maintenance today they increase the spawning of the storm lord. I haven’t heard that the event will end with today’s maintenance. Right?

The Maintenance is only for 1 hour today…not 8 hours…so the event should still be up and running as what was reported on Wowhead…today is not reset day…that is Tuesday.
This is Blizzard’s screw up but in life you guys should never, ever wait until the last minute to do something.
And this event was a great example for why.

I’m not faulting blizzard on this. We did have two weeks and I missed my opportunity due to having to work nearly a 130hrs during those two weeks. That said, Storm has a VERY low spawn rate. My guess the original RNG weights were designed with the 4th spawn in mind and probably never were adjusted.
It’s on players to do the event but it’s also up to Blizzard to make sure the spawn rates for all 4 elemental invasions are fairly equal.

This is all on Blizzard…it was reported over and over in the PTR that the Tirisfal Glades location wasn’t working due too the UnderCity Phasing from BfA …but they still left it as a spawn point when it went live…day 1 of the Event it was reported over and over here and on twitter that Tirisfal Glades was still broken and not working but what does Blizzard do…NOTHING…they let it ride…

According to Wowhead, the event is scheduled to run until Launch tonight. Hopefully maintenance will solve the problem. Even Wowhead says that the Storm Lord has only spawned once in the last few days.

Yeah, but being a developer myself, I know they are most likely in crunch time like I was. I doubt this is high enough on their pm’s priority to divert resources so close to launch. It technically works. Just really bad spawn rate for that one within a 24hr time frame.

Yeah waiting last minute is bad but what is even worse is the designer for this event. I would like to sit him down and ask what purpose does two spawns of the same type serve and why did they not just have all four at once?

Just because we don’t flip out literally every 5 seconds abut Blizzard being the worst company in the history of the universe, that don’t make us white knights, or simps, or whatever stupid term you want to use to describe people that are content. Every major game company has become a money grubbing biznatch. NONE of them care about us. If you’re unhappy, easy solution, there’s thousands of other games out there. Maybe play one of them and let us play ours. Y’all are like cartoon characters, and you sound like idiots every time you try to bash someone that’s not as miserable as you. Get bent kid.

You’re ignoring the fact that many people have lives and families and cant just run to the pc every 2.5hrs to check for something that MIGHT be there. You’re also ignoring the fact that many players who came back wanting to give the game another chance with the xpac got slapped right in the face again. There’s no way it should go something like 26hrs without spawning all of them at least once. It’s a poor design no matter how "your fault not blizzards’ you feel about it.
