Let’s skip right over the problem of FAPs enabling you to pay-to-win Warsong.
The terrain exploit still exists. It’s literally the way every FAPing druid in every alliance pvp guild caps the flag. It makes it painfully obvious that Blizzard employees don’t even pay attention to the game, much less play it.
Blizzard literally doesn’t care that a battle ground is completely broken. How hard is it to make a solid wall there? It’s not, and do you know how I know this? Because there are impassable walls all over this game. It’s a wall.
How do I know that Blizzard actually doesn’t care? Because it still exists. They paid lip service to it in patch notes, and that was utter garbage.
TL;DR Blizzard tacitly endorses terrain exploitation. Or there’s some totally logical explanation for why walls just can’t possibly be used.

well…this is the line of “you think you do, but you don’t” rings true. People are playing wow classic VASTLY different compared to vanilla. People played like this, but it wasn’t this common. It was usually for people that twinked, and premade. Now it’s just EVERYWHERE. People are just, like I said prior, playing it harder, like an esport.

These jumps are actually pretty much improving the game imo. As long as everyone can do it (not like a place where only a mage can reach for example).
What is surprising is that jumps are pretty even on both sides. even better.

FCs literally engage in what’s officially acknowledged as exploitation in the most laughably blunt way possible and Blizzard’s response is to mention it and do nothing.
But I guess I should re-roll and jump up the tunnel roof like the rest of them. Why don’t we all just start hacking the game?

They’re literally not. The alliance can jump up right next to their GY in 2-5 seconds, while every horde method takes 30 seconds of running around, and one of them makes you a sitting duck for range DPS.
I agree that it needs to be fixed, but I do remember blizzard saying they are fixing it. I’m gonna assume that fix is not yet implemented
Yes and it’s just as easily fixable.
I’ve been playing on Horde during classic, so someone else can vent about how ridiculously Horde can exploit.

They ‘implemented changes’ and reverted some of them, see blueposts.
I’m here to give feedback, which is quite simply:
This is absolutely ridiculous. Simplify the terrain, make walls. It’s a competitive CTF game. No one is taking time to sit and stare at these broken and exploitable pieces of 20 year old terrain textures.

The fap meta is really bad, but thats partially on how batching works here. Since everything is so delayed and attacks get batched its nutty how much dmg you eat once you actually do have 3-4 ppl on you.
We do have a mage on my server who is rather open on buying gold directly and he just consumes on cooldown anytime he wants. Like you watch him run flags and its hilarious how much survival a 6.8k hp mage with any consume on demand has. Anyone who actually farms or has to farm for gold and is unable to fap/rocket boot/flash bomb/tea or whatever gimick you can think of is just not gonna compete. Its really borderline pay2win.

Yeah but horde’s one is much secure and easier to get.
The easiest way to fix this is to allow warlocks to summon people carrying the flag.
It’s the same with world buffs and raiding.
Lol. I would sit behind the Alliance portal, wave at them, they’d all charge at me and port out. Then I got banned for a week.
Horde FC: “Someone sap their solitary priest”
Alliance FC: “Scattershot the hpriest and I’ll helm the spriest and sheep both the ele’s and… ah fk it I’ll just try to powershift them”.
I did say people are playing the game vastly different and compared it to an esport, fastest raid times, premade BGs just dunking on pugs, faster leveling even.
No it isnt “you think you do but you dont” is a load of bs. More like “You thought we’d moderate it but we wont”
