The past couple days I, and many others in game by the looks of it, are experiencing severe lag in Zuldazar. It only seems to be happening there. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I would like to bring it to light. It is not my PC, nor is it my connection. Both are pristine. And I can play lag free in every other zone in the game. Zuldazar is the only zone causing problems.
The same has been happening to me. Iām also on Turalyon. Iāve been getting lots of lag in Zuldazar but now that Iām in Orgrimmar the lag has disappeared. Not sure what is causing it.

Exactly the same issue here - Duskwood server, though.
Once Iām out of Zuldazar, no issues whatsoever. But anywhere in and around that area, itās like a solid 5-10 second ālagā, and it happens almost every 5-10 seconds so that entire area is effectively unplayable.

This could be loosely related, but itās only happening in one zone. So Iām skeptical of the cause being based on your thread link. If it were related to that I would think that it would be apparent in other zones of the game.
To quote a blue that posted in my thread:
āIf it only occurs in one zone, then what Judex posted is most likely the issue. Thereās a long standing bug with certain zones specifically when there are a ton of players in them which causes things like spell delays and problems interacting with things. If you donāt have the problem in the vast majority of areas, and only new zones do it to you, thatās probably the issue.ā

I looked through a couple threads, including the one linked above, and one thing āfixedā itā¦turning on War Mode. Not the most ideal solution but itās a workaround nonetheless.

Itās based around sharding so itās absolutely zone specific, turning on War Mode shifts you out of your current shard so it āfixesā it. You can also ask in General or Trade to see if there are people there who arenāt lagging and ask them to invite you to a group, this will also shift you out of your current shard and into theirs.
same here, zuldazar on turalyon, first noticed lag issues sunday morning, but today the zone is pretty much unplayable. the lag is so bad mobs arenāt even loading for me and the zone is empty. with classic launching today I highly doubt there are enough players around to cause the issueā¦ I hardly even made it out of the zone, it takes nearly a full minute to even summon a mount ><
