World First level 60 in 2 days and 7 hours.

Ragnaros and Onyxia dead in less than 6 days.
------- Unarmored mounts in the game for 4+ months = considered rushing content.

I donât think a group of poopsockers is representative of the player base lol.
The point being, people will rush content regardless of unarmored mounts. Itâs super lame excuse to exclude content that existed in the game.

You wonât give us these mounts under the guise of you shouldnt have to rush too 60 and then your brazilian PR team lets your plans for free level 110 boost slip out. Well we all saw this coming. I guess I should start saving up money for when they decided to put the mounts on the cash shop.

I played Vanilla:
The unarmored Epic mounts were gone quite some time, before anyone I knew could afford the Epic mount.
So because this is Drums of War, they are not around. In spite of them releasing content in âPhasesâ, you are still playing the Drums of War patch. So the unarmored epic mounts did not exist.
Basically, we are not starting on an original patch Vanilla server. We are starting, as new players, on a new server world which came out with Drums of War (except it also has release phases.)
Very few players got these mounts, back in Vanilla. There was also a turn in option, for the âcool armored oneâ which most players took. So that decreases the number with that look even further.
Also, isnât it 900 gold at exalted? I ask this because it took my NE Holy Priest so long to get 1 K gold, that she was able to get Ironforge to exalted. So her epic mount was a White/green Ironforge ram.

Iâve been out of the loop for awhile now, but I did know about these mounts back in original vanilla even. I only learned about this happening due to looking it up and to my dismay finding out Blizzard isnât bringing them back.
I struggle to understand the decision behind it, since it hurts no one.
The Black Qirag Mount is a limited 1 time thing, thereâs no reason why there canât be other limited time mounts. Thereâs no reason to âprotectâ the people that will get emotionally stricken upon finding out they canât collect it all like in retail.
Limited time stuff, and just being able to distinguish yourself with various achievement and memorable items/mounts was most definitely part of classic.
And Iâm sad to see another part sealed away.

Weâll never know because Blizzard decided to cater to a casual audience that generally doesnât care either way.
I am 45 atm and I am not even pushing myself.
Ive seen my first epic mount rider today.
Nothing to see here folks, Blizzard hates anything fun which is why theyâve been steadily making retail what it is and making unnecessary changes to classic. That, or their heads are so far up their own rear ends that they have no clue what it is that made people interested in their products in the first place. Sad.

I just donât get it, I really donât.
Classic is here, and itâs basically here to stay; whether if they bring TBC or WOTLK back as well, or not, classic is here to stay, and I HOPE not going anywhere.
So, many years back, the birth of âsnowflake statusâ pretty much happened because, Blizzard got complaints from players that the unarmored mounts looked no different from the level 40 ones, so they removed the unarmored ones, and put in armored onesâŚ
Why remove the unarmored ones to begin with? Who does it hurt to have BOTH available?
Anyway, that ship has sailed - WOTLK brought achievements to WoW, and with it the âsnowflake badgeâ of the original mounts.
Now with classic having NO crossing over or connections to modern WoW, what on Earth would even make the slightest sense for Blizzard to NOT make the unarmored mounts available, ONLY in classic?
It would not trigger the acquisition of the achievement in modern game, and if people complain for what ever reasons under the sun, my god just STOP catering to them, they complain about EVERYTHING as it is, and when they ARE catered to, they find something else to complain about, NEVER achieving true happiness.
Blizzard not including the unarmored mounts, is bad, and is a very coward move if they fear any complaints or backlash. It makes ZERO sense, since they donât carry over / cross over with modern WoW!

I seriously wish that Blizzard would backtrack and add the unarmored mounts in to the game. Trading mine in when we had the option in vanilla was something I regret doing. I was looking forward to getting another in classic.

I was really looking forward to that palomino, Iâve eyed it for 14 years. I was a little sad to see it wasnât available, but I get their reasoning.
Truthfully I was worried about rushing to 40/exalted with humans to get it, least now I can take my time. StillâŚI wouldâve done it. I would have pushed hard to get it, I love that horse.

Their reasoning was âwe donât want players to feel pressured to level quickly so they can get the mount before it is removedâ.
I donât and will never understand this. Who the hell are they to tell me how to spend my time and how to play?
Why do they figure that non-casual sessions of playing longer than like 30 minutes a day is âbad/wrongâ? How do I acquire whatever it is theyâre taking to claim they did it to avoid having poopsocks in the game but we see a level 60 in under 3 days and MC is cleared in less than a week?

Still no real justification from Blizzard on this.
The total silence theyâve had on this issue for MONTHS is beyond insulting as well.
No one would have been ârushedâ, you would have had until phase 3, which will come out like 5 months from now at the EARLIEST.
Itâs not enough to ruin classic, but blizzard will always have my resentment for this one.
