That would be pretty sh!tty for all the people who spent months, literally MONTHS writing and pleaing to Blizzard for these mounts. Unless they are some sort of sadists over there.
Over 3,000 replies on the topic on this forum alone. Not to mention EU, and other communities like reddit, twitter, youtube, mmo-champ etc.
Not that I would complain, I will be super happy of course. I just don’t have any hope left.

I can’t say I expected anything else even if I was hoping for it. The least they could do is give a proper answer. Most of the player base don’t care about the mounts, so why is it such a big deal if some players will “rush” to get them? Most people on pvp servers rush anyway to avoid getting ganked. Phase 1 might take months.
Nearly every other challenge in the game is available for people to have a second shot at.

Maybe they are undecided or still discussing. Even if the mounts don’t show up in the game, many thanks to my forum friends for putting up such a good fight. If I ever make it back to American servers and see you in game, I’ll /salute.

Well guys, we fought pretty hard for this and I can’t say that I believe they will change their minds. After hearing the ludicrous answer they gave about the piling skeletons, I’m convinced they won’t change their answer.
It’s time for me to accept that I won’t ever get to ride any of those beautiful mounts. Launch day is not gonna feel the same for me now. I’m still excited, but not having the mounts in is one more thing I won’t have to look forward to when hitting 60.

Blizzard, you have accomplished nothing but the continued destruction of art. All you know how to do is delete art assets and content from your game. All you’ve known for so long is micromanaging your players… so much so that you’ve allowed it to corrupt your view of classic.
You do not deserve the fans that you have, you do not deserve classic.

Blizzard is absolutely going to CHEESE phase one for as long as possible. If you havent hit 60 by the end of phase one then I’m now questioning your choice to pay 15 dollars for something you play 4 times a week. Without a doubt I’m not expecting P2 till January at the latest. This idea that very few people will get them is hilarious.

I don’t even remember the unarmored mounts so I don’t personally care too much if they return, but I do think it makes sense to bring them back if they were in the original game. If Blizzard is concerned about people rushing to get them then how about they just don’t remove them after a set amount of time? Problem solved. Sure, it’s not 100% authentic, but it’s a lot better than not having them at all.

Today on Classiccast they buckled down on their original reasoning. Sad they couldn’t give a better reason other than “forcing” someone to level to 60 faster.

Really disappointing.
Especially when they talked about loot drops and leaving an element of surprise.
Logging in and getting to Brill and seeing the unarmored mounts that’s a surprise not downing a dungeon and I realize okay this isn’t dropping yet.
