Earlier today on Classic Era, our Alliance group contested the Horde on the Whitemane-server cluster on Classic Era.
After some PVP session, the Alliance group I was leading managed to get the Azuregos tag. I was the Master Looter, and I am eligible for Azuregos loot . Many alliance raiders can attest that Alliance got the tag for Azuregos as well.
However, when me (the alliance group) wanted to distribute loot, it said I was “ineligible for the tag” even though I did not participate in the Azuregos kill earlier on in the week and I very clearly tagged the boss and had Masterlooter.
This is really unaccceptable BUG behavior that wasted tons of hours for different raiders. Most of us spent hours (17-34 camping and scouting these world bosses), up to 5 hours resharding warlock toons only to have this boss taken away from us due to a BUG.
According to some raiders who play on Horde side, the Master Looter on Horde side was ineligible for Loot, because they have already done Azuregos. But they still somehow got loot tag over the Alliance who were eligible for loot.
Customer Support, if you are reading this, please do what is right. Have a proper developer look into the code of Classic Era and undo all changes to World Bosses that have impacted Classic Era via the tweaking on Seassonal and Hardcore realms.
The players who have been playing Classic Era from the onset deserve as much love and support with the rest of the playerbase.
