Unable to use Mushroom Rings

When in Ardenweald, I was unable to use the mushroom ring network at The Forest’s Edge. Two other players had come by, and they were unable to use them as well. The ability to use the ring does not show up.

I too am having this problem with the Forest’s Edge ring; I am holding a story quest, ‘Speak to the Queen’ and I’m wondering if that has something to do with it.

Annoying, because it’s quite a run to the next travel point of any kind, especially with hostile mobs right there.

After the fact, and to close this out: It was a matter of overlapping quest phasing.
