When did the blizzard fun police step in and change it so if I drop from a high place in a dungeon or old raid I cannot use my goblin glider tinker on my cloak?
I can’t remember the last time i tried but it was usually in ICC just after killing blood queen the chandelier drops and breaks a hole in the floor and I would glide down for fun. How was this so game breaking that it needed to be changed?
I don’t know if before, but iirc they broke functionality of gliders in dungeons in legion because rogues were using them in nelths lair to essentially skip to the last boss as it had a part for the hidden appearance.

Soon you will not be able to use them at all. I figure they will make all that stuff unusable in next expansion. We will be forced to use this new mount equipment and not just for get about it.
At least I can still glide down off the pyramid in Zandalar to the scrapper, if they make them unusable I hope they compensate us in exchange cause that just feels wrong.
They disabled them in Dungeons and Raids because it can break and/or skip certain mechanics, like the Neltharions Lair skip in Legion. So instead of balancing around that they just disabled them outright.
They have parachutes for your mounts. They have not even implemented this mount equipment and I hate it already. Just a excuse to break our mounts and make us pay for what we already have over and over. Every thing the mount equipment is bringing is already in game, except maybe the speed boost.
So, they make it extremely difficult to get rep now compared to the old days when you could buy tabards, and then take away the only way you can grind highmountain rep without creating a demon hunter. Seems like bs to me. Would like to actually play WOW and have the time to enjoy it. Seems kinda hard to do so when you can only play a couple of hours a day but spend weeks of it grinding rep.
As long as DHs can glide, they shouldn’t take away gliders for others.
They took water walking away even though DK’s can use path of frost.
You know I often forget this even exists. I see the slot sometimes, but I don’t even know how to get them or what they do.
most are made with professions. Mount equipment is kinda useless, I have 28 level 120, I think five have something in the slot. The rest are empty.

Also wut? Did they remove the dungeon? I farmed my rep super fast on a not DH.
Peoples hatred of mount equipment aside, they are pretty nice for most classes.
The water walking equipment for example for anyone that is not a DK/Shaman lets any mount walk on water, not just the water strider that used to (I know a fair number of people like the look of them but for me they are ugly, and am very happy that I can use whatever mount I want rather then just that around water)
The not being able to be dazed while mounted, 20% faster movement speed, and parachute while mounted (all for any mount with no time limit, unlike the ‘already in game’ items comment above) are also nice, though debatably not as useful (though a DK/Shaman could easily use not being able to be dazed and still have water walking for instance)
I need the parachute now that the stupid cloak doesn’t allow me to use my tinkers. I’ll have to look that up.
