I recently looted the Beledar’s Spawn mount after a group kill, and the tooltip indicates it’s tradeable to anyone eligible for the next few hours. However, despite another group member being eligible (they did damage to Beledar, healed the raid, and were present for the kill), I’m unable to trade the mount to them.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Relogging both myself and the other player.
- Changing date and time settings off automatic and back on (since this was reported to fix a similar bug).
- Resetting my UI and disabling all add-ons.
- Moving to a different location and ensuring we were in the same phase/layer.
- Interestingly, another player who was NOT in my group but was present for the kill and already had the mount learned was able to initiate a trade and put their mount in the trade window with me. However, I couldn’t place mine in the trade during that same session. Additionally, that same player could not put the mount in the trade window with my friend that he just seconds prior was able to put into the trade window with me.
- This was my first kill of Beledar after the reset, and my first time looting this mount drop. I previously received and learned this mount yesterday after another player traded it to me, so it’s definitely tradeable.
- The player I’m trying to trade to was in my group, did damage, healed the raid, their first kill after the reset, and was eligible for the mount loot.
- My friend and I are both Horde, on the same realm, and in the same guild.
Despite all of this, I still get the error preventing me from trading the mount to my group member. Any advice or help would be appreciated!
