I’ve been digging through my graphical settings trying to figure out what is going on, but for some reason since TWW dropped I have just been completely unable to see peoples Hearthstone effects. Is there an option I am missing, or was something done?

Yep, also confirming I cannot see peoples spells/hearthstones, party or not.
Also having this issue.
Same here, have tried various settings, I can see my own, and sometimes I can see others. Thought it was maybe the setting that kicks in with low fps, but had mine set to kick in if below 60 fps, and even when above 130 fps still doesn’t show friends hearthstone effects.
Still an issue, and now I don’t even see my own hearthstone animation
Yeah I am having this issue as well, and my graphics are set pretty high…
Same here. I can see my own hearthstone effects but not other players. Kind of sucks because what is the use of the effects of no one can see them? I like to match them to mogs and see how others do it too. Some also spend extra money for the hearthstone effect on the more expensive xpack pack.
Used to be able to see my friends effects, but now I can’t. Seems this is an older bug. Is there a graphics option we need to change or is this a legitimate bug?

Options → Graphics → scroll down to ‘Spell Density’ → change this to Everything.

Thank you this bug has been driving me nuts since TWW launched.
I have never seen another player’s hearthstone effects even before war within. I have a necrolord hearthstone with some green swirlies. Do other players see these effects?
Eta read the above about the graphic options will give that a try.
My friend was saying he couldn’t see the fireworks that launch when I use the Lunar Hearthstone. I can see mine just fine, but he said I was basically just standing there casting a hearthstone.

We did that fix back in season 1 when my friend was unable to see my Severed Threads hearthstone. However, despite not changing her graphics settings, she was unable to see the new Explosive Hearthstone which drops off Stix. She toggled density off Everything and back on but it made no difference. For whatever reason, her local client refused to render it with all settings maxed. There is still some kind of issue here, as she didn’t even see any cast animation at all until I just disappeared at the end.
