After recently restarting my WoW client, my character screen is completely black and i’m unable to log into any of my characters.
I was in fact playing an alt and died and thought I was d/c’d because I wasn’t able to do anything. When i restarted my client I can’t see any of my characters and the screen black. If I click on “enter world” the button grays out and nothing happens.
I am able to access other servers and log into characters on other servers.

Pretty sure they are having server issues. The whole game froze for about 5min, then everyone disconnected and are seeing the same thing at login.

Same here for server Grobbulus. I can log on Deviate Delight just fine, but Grobbulus gives me a black screen and errors if I try to create a character.

Hubby’s toon is frozen up- screen black. My character is fine.
Shows him offline, but still clearly in the instance. very weird.
Same thing happened to me as well i went to loot and everything like froze in place and now trying to log in i get the same screen
I play Wow Classic and I am unable to access my server.
Same for annathema, cant log in since the full char screen is blackened, i dont mind waiting for blizz to fix the issue, but i was hoping to play wow now 
Grobbulus and Deviate Delight don’t show up anymore for me in the realm list

Yep, Servers are slowly going down. If they aren’t down its a blank/black screen upon login.
What is the usual response when these things happen? I am new to this. I want to know if they will fix it now, or the common thing is for them to take hours… thank you.

personally i have never seen this happen, im just taking a guess its not common, but when i saw a post made back in 2016 supposedly a similar issue happened for people so this must be something that has happened in the past.

Have not seen this happen either. Hope it’s fixed soon.
they can at least put up a message so people know there are issues logging in
