Okay I need some help. Me and my friend are on the same server he’s level 32 and I’m 35. When we queue for dungeons it says one of us do not meet the requirement for the dungeons. We haven’t been able to play together for 3 days. wtf is going on?
Open up the dungeon queue interface (“i” by default), and scroll over the instances… it will probably give a message for what the issue is.
Though, to be fair… if he is level 32, you are level 35 (and you are the same faction?) idk what the issue would be. Maybe you’re trying to queue for a specific dungeon that he isn’t high enough level for?
We are queuing for random, and I was wrong he’s level 33. We are only 2 levels apart. The level ranges for the dungeons I can specifically do are 32-40.
It allows us to choose our roles, then once we hit “join as party” it pops the message “you do not meet the requirement”
may be an iLvl requirement?
Is your friend queued for any bgs or group finder stuff?
Do either of you have the dungeon deserter debuff?
Are you both queueing as tanks or heals?
Are you both in the same chromie time expansion?
Edit: maybe have your friend be party lead and queue that way

I’m tank and he’s healer. We are both able to queue solo, this is only happening when trying to play together. My dungeon range is 32-44 and he’s level 33 but it’s saying he doesn’t meet the level requirement. I have no idea what’s going on but this is frustrating me cause there is no info on this occurring anywhere.
Check to see if you both are in the same chromie time expansion. Idk if that breaks the rdf tool
I can do that either in Classic Era.
Classic Era does not have queuing for dungeons.
As others have pointed out, try the sub forum for the version of the game you play as you might get others who have encountered, or overcome the same issue.
It’s been a while since I’ve played retail but when this happened, ilvl was usually the culprit. You guys are mid-30’s though and the time walking they put in means you can queue for any dungeons in the 10-50 range, so I don’t think it’s that.
Maybe check that you’re in the same expansion via Chromie (in SW park)… I thought it only mattered for the dungeon leader but like I said, it’s been a while. If still no, try your expansion appropriate sub-forum.

This issue is caused due to the random dungeon finder picking a dungeon out of range of you both. Yes, even 1 level difference can cause this. Manually queue for one dungeon, then try random again.
