Unable to purchase Rank 3 Essence on Alts.
I unlocked the Stabilizing Lens of the Focusing Iris (Rank 3 of the Focusing Iris Essence) and added it to my Heart of Azeroth on Caedrine-Tichondrius, but when attempting to purchase it from Mother on any of my Alts, example Kylaraa-Sargeras who meets the class / spec requirements, it says “Item Locked”.
I submitted a CS ticket, but they suggested reporting this as a bug. Case # for reference.

Edit: i didn’t realize the necro was 1 year old i am creating a new post. this post came up as a suggested thread when i started writing the post
Necro’ing again. A year later, this is still bugged and is preventing me from obtaining the Ripple in Space essence on my alts. This essence is great for speed sets, as it provides a 5% movement speed boost in old content (something transmog farmers like me spend all our timing doing).
Why not just allow purchasing these items without having earned them before? At this point, a change like this would be super helpful to players and likely not gamebreaking to implement.
Wish I had something but tickets got me nowhere, they just said they are aware of the bug and working on a solution with no indication of when/if it’s actually going to be fixed. I’ve pretty much given up. They aren’t going to let Azerite live forever, probably lucky to have it still active at all, so by the time a fix is applied I doubt it will even matter. It would have been really nice because longstrider took a hit in effectiveness in DF so Ripple in space would have compensated a bit.
