When I go to General, “Open Draft” or “New Topic” are grayed out. When I go into other forums where it’s not grayed out, my only subforum options in the draft are Classic, all the servers, and Tech Support subforums. I have not tested to see if I can or cannot reply to threads.
How may this be fixed? I read possibly changing password would help, but it hasn’t for me.

I’m having the same problem.
On top of that, when it comes to the characters I can post on, I only have three options. All three of them are level 20 or below characters (which I presume might be relevant, because those are characters I can play when not subscribed as part of the whole Starter Edition account status) even though one of them doesn’t even exist anymore. I can’t post as any of my higher level characters, including my main.
Something else I’ll add because it feels like it could be relevant, for years now when I copy my account data to the PTR, it updates character levels and such, but it hasn’t seemed to copy over anything account-wide like mounts since some time in 2016 (for example, I bought the Champion’s Treadblade back in 2016, but I still can’t access it on the PTR).
All those forums require current game time.
If you believe your game time is up-to-date, log out of the forums and back in. That may refresh the forum software’s knowledge of your account status.
Thanks! Logging out and back in worked for me (I can post elsewhere and switch to my higher level characters). I thought I had even tried that before, but I guess not.
My PTR is working now as well, though I still don’t know if it’s connected.
