I recently received the 1600 unique pets achievement. Since then, I am unable to do world pet quests and normal world pet battles in any zone. Nothing happens with I click to start battle. Has anyone run into this?

Wish I had any suggestion for a solution, but I just came here to say grats on that Ach, that’s a lot of pets. Hope this gets resolved for you.
ty, not really a huge pet battler, but I have add about getting every new pet I see anywhere.

I haven’t heard of anything like this. Quite a few devotees have the 1600, and if this were common, the screams from the Discord could be heard on Mars. 
Of course, not many of them would have got it in the last week or so… maybe something related to the recent patch?
Usually, when people say they can’t battle, or see battle pets, the cause is that they have turned off seeing battle pets in their minimap settings, and/or Critters in Interface - and they are usually new to pet battling.
The other thing to ALWAYS suspect when anything weird happens is addons. Have you tried after disabling all addons?
Do you still see the Green Paw above battle pets in the world? If so, when you right-click a battle pet, do you just kill it?
Do you still see the markers for World Quests on the map? When you right-click on a WQ tamer, do you get no reaction?
Do you still see the blue quest icon above daily quest tamers, like in Draenor or Pandaria? Can you take the quest?

ty for replying. It has not worked all week. With nothing changed, it started working about 30 minutes ago about 30 minutes after asking for help. I am doing the world quests now and happy. Fluke? Idk, but it is working now so c’est la vie.

In the Discord, It Is Known that complaining about something not dropping os something not working makes it drop, or work.
Seems like that effect applies here too!
