Unable to paste account password at BLIZZARD CHECKOUT Security Check

First I launch World of Warcraft retail version and click the Shop button on the character selection screen.

On the pop up that opens I click the Pets button in the left column. Then I click Lucky Quilen Cub, which is currently on sale for 50% off. Then I click the Buy Now button.

BLIZZARD CHECKOUT opens. All my payment info is correct as usual. I click the Pay Now button.

The next screen is where I experience the bug. The screen says Security Check Please authorize this purchase with a quick security check. Enter your Blizzard password.

When I try to paste my password into the Password field nothing happens. This is a major pain the bss because my password is 32 random characters letters and symbols. By the way, this happens if I try to use Ctrl+V for the paste command and also there is no right-click menu at all in the Password field.

The only work around I can figure out is to either write down my password or else paste my password into a notepad and Alt+Tab switch back and forth between the notepad and the BLIZZARD CHECKOUT Security Check. Both of these are horrible options and pretty much security violations instead of security.

I want to buy a lot of stuff but the store does not make it easy. It would take me over an hour to buy all the pets I want due to this bug. Please fix this.

I encountered this a while back. From what I understand, it’s not a bug, but by design. Which sux for those of us who take passwords more seriously than the average user.
