Im attempting to log in and i keep getting errors for DLL missing, I tried a few things to fix this from the page provided when clicking on the errors and they were not working.
A friend suggested launching through folders and that didnt work either, I checked my Radeon Software after updating windows to see if that was the issue and it needed update but that was fine, and attempted to launch wow from there.
I was able to get in but am still unable to launch Battle net; I’ve attempted every step listed in the error codes links aside from using file checker (Running now as i make this post incase it doesn’t work) - I cant uninstall, reinstall, open or do anything with battle net, Please help.
I would also like to note that this error Occured with my Steam games this morning; (Specifically Rust) And the fix for that i found was deleting the Easy anticheat certificate folder and then restarting Steam and Rust and it allowed me to play instantly with no error (From what they told me that would generate a new certificate after steam re-updated EAC from having missing files; i also had to do a file scan verification in Steam to have it notice i needed to update EAC). I however do not want to start deleting things in bnet folders outside whats listed on the error code links without asking here first however.
UPDATE: Windows did find corrupted files; going through the system checker hopefully fixed it. I unfortunately have been called away for dinner but i will be checking and updating this post as soon as i am able.
UPDATE 2: It has not fixed the issue unfortunately; however i will be trying to uninstall Battlenet again and see if that is available now.
Update 3: Unable to uninstall; tried a few other things i noticed in other posts about being unable to uninstall and those didnt work either. Next best answer ive found was someone replying on a post for rust saying “Re-installing windows worked but that would fix any major issue any program has since its a clean wipe”; i just hope theres a fix that doesnt involve that.
