I have been unable to log in for the last couple days (since the Tuesday update). I have done all the things recommended by Blizz and the forums, but nothing has worked yet. I open the Battle.net app and all seems well. I click “PLAY” and the game screen opens and crashes immediately. I get an error message with a crazy long code on it that I submit with some comments, then the game closes. I have tried running the game from the wow.exe in the file to see if that works better, but same result. Anyone else stuck here?
Edit/Update: If I open 4 windows, the 4th one made it to the character selection screen…
Here are some basic things you can try, look under crashes.
Unfortunately the code that you submitted in the reporter won’t help much on this forum.
From my personal experience it sounds like you are having issues with cache. I have cleared my cache in the past and have overcome issues such as this. However, you will want to write down all of your addons to reinstall as well as game settings.
Before you download your addons again after clearing cache, log in to test game side. If you can log in go ahead and download addons, then log in again. This can tell you if your issue may be addon based.
As a simple thing, I have removed all of my addons. I’m playing pure WoW. I’ll try clearing my cache and see if that works, thanks mate!
Update: that did not fix the issue and I am still unable to log in effectively.
I have been having the same exact problem for 2 days now.
Hanging/ freezing in load screens and in the world
Have tried multiple drivers from nvidia
Wiped my whole drive and reinstalled windows
The program Wow.exe version 11.0.5.57534 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

I may have to look into old school things that was done to open the client. So back the day we sometimes had to open specific ports in our firewall in order for the client to properly flow through it and allow game play.
I have not had to do this since over two computers ago and don’t think it is an issue anymore. It is worth a shot looking up, I am now not sure what is going on with your clients otherwise.
I request the error codes be displayed here on the forums as well. I know it will take a while to write down, you can use a snipping tool to screenshot the displayed error. Snip & Sketch is what my snipping tool is called.
