I have always been an alchemist. I am currently at skill level 29. I am unable to learn alchemy level 5 for 10 copper. The train button is greyed out and when I hover over it, it says “you can only learn two primary professions.” I have always and only have had alchemy and herbalism as my primary professions.
My 80 Blood Elf Hunter is unable to learn any alchemy in Dornogal. The train button is greyed out and when I over over it, it tells me “you can only learn two primary professions”, but Alchemy is one of them. I can only do alchemy of the lower levels and can’t help my warband or guild with alchemy requests. I am skill level 24, and have been unable to train anything since I reached level 5 required for next step. My warband is in serious need of Mana potions higher than 20k mana. My 73 warlock needs at least 405k Mana or she needs to stop and rest periodically to renew mana.
I’ve been trying to report this for more than a week, but finally found someone else reporting this SERIOUS ERROR!
It was suggested by another player that I abandon (unlearn) alchemy, and re-learn it, but unfortunately that means I’ll have to pay to train all over again IN ALL SECTIONS, And do alchemy to gain skill points in all sections, and buy all the recipes I have gained along the way (or gotten by quests). This is UNACCEPTABLE! PLEASE FIX THIS BUG, or fix my account on alchemy.
My Alliance side Alchemist was able to train in Khaz Algar Alchemy for approx 95 gold. Why is my Horde side being offered Alchemy at lvl 5 for 10 copper. Seems like it’s offering Classic Alchemy which is already trained. Does this need clearing of some cache to offer the right training? If so, how is it done?
Seems Fionella already learned basic Khaz Algar Alchemy as I can do Wild Experimentation to get new recipes, including for mana, etc and am now lvl 30. So I’m ignoring the bogus training that doesn’t work.
I have that as an unlearnable option while maxed in alchemy for all expansions. I would not worry as long as you are still able to level up your current alchemy.
I have the same problem. Has anyone figured this out?
