All of my friends are playing Horde on Nightslayer on the fresh servers and I am unable to join them. Blizzard had to lock the Horde faction due to so many people joining. Now I have no point to play.
Here’s a solution, if you have more than a certain amount of friends on a locked server you should be able to bypass the locked realm/faction and join them. This will keep the playerbase somewhat happy and the people/groups that came in late will have to join another realm or faction, together.
I believe this is a good and fair alternative to what is currently in place.

People will flood Discord (or these forums) requesting to be added by players from the locked faction.

Just keep checking. If its like sod the faction lock should bounce back and forth pretty often.
Its not bouncing back and forth at all. Maybe day 1 it would bounce but if your late to the party your not getting to make a Horde on Nightslayer
Sounds like your “friends” should reroll alliance so you can play together.

Any true friend would roll an alliance rogue and grief them with it now.
Gee what could possibly go wrong? Everyone suddenly having a friend on the Horde side so everyone bypasses the balance check? People certainly wouldn’t go around selling invitations to get onto the Horde side. Not a thing could go wrong with this awful idea.
is this satire? a certain number of friends means you get to bypass the faction lock? lol
