Unable to install WoW

Hi All,

Recently resubbed and purchased DF. I’m unable to install it due to being stuck in an initializing loop.

I have tried the standard install/uninstall of battlenet, including clearing the cache.

I have tried changing DNS, using a VPN, install path and scan and repair. I have noticed that the battlenet agent encounters an error.

It gets stuck on initializing 2145571/2145571.

Not sure what to try next, might be looking at a refund at this point.

All other Bnet games update/install just fine.

Would appreciate any help with this one.

Cheers

Exactly the same issue here.
Reinstalled Bnet, tried different drives to install to.
All other Blizz games update perfectly fine. Just Wow refuses to install at all.
Initializing 2145571/2145571 is exactly what I get.

Same here. got a new gaming computer and Battlenet loaded just fine but it will not install WoW or Diablo III. WoW is stuck on initializing. going to put in a ticket because I’ve tried every possible solution I could find from all over the internet as well as here and nothing has worked.

same issue here, stuck on initialize 2145571/2145571 and the dump log showing this error

C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.8093\Errors

An application encountered a critical error:
Program: C:/ProgramData/Battle.net/Agent/Agent.8093/Agent.exe
Exception: 0xe06d7363 (unknown exception) at 0023:0x76e27452

i tried removing bnet launcher, deleted all related folder, installed bnet again, tried with and without beta version of the launcher, also tried running as admin, also tried to kill the process “battle net update agent” and restarted as admin BEFORE the system lunched it, all the same. D3 is installing and working fine, tried to also install in a different folder

same here, cant install stuck on the same part

Greetings,

I just managed to start the download.

I tried figuring out what was the issue.

A: Its holidays thus there is a queue to download the game

B: More people tends to use VPN thus have the same IP address; would Blizz server not allow new download to a specific IP address if that same shared IP address is already downloading from another account?

I went for option B.

Thus, I:

  1. Deleted the file installation of WoW through battle.net
  2. Disconnected the VPN
  3. Waited for battle.net to resume connection
  4. Started the installation anew from battle.net, but this time with my own IP address

Download finally started!

Good luck!

I’m not using a VPN. removed the files, it gets to the same point and no further, I can confirm its still not working correctly
