Unable to Install WoW

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Book2 device so I could game while traveling for work. I can’t install the game on my work laptop and I wanted something light for generic fun while on the road.

I was able to install the launcher but when I try to install the WoW game files, it tells me that I need to have a 64-bit operating system. I looked in my System Settings and I do have a 64-bit OS installed.

System Type: 64-bit Operating System, ARM-based Processor

Other than this is a tablet, what could possibly stop it from installing? I tried copying the files from my desktop at home and installed them in the same location that the system says to, for default installs. This didn’t work either. If I can’t run this on the tablet, then I might as well return it and get my money back. Thanks!

Hey there Kaneudigit,

This 64-bit error can also be caused by the CPU not meeting the minimum requirements for WoW. Can you let us know the exact model of CPU that the Galaxy Book 2 has?

You can find the info in the DXDIAG report.

Sure.

This unfortunately is not supported for World of Warcraft, so the game will not run on it. :frowning:

If you still have the option to return it that may be your best bet.

Well that would explain it. Thank you!

Would this run classic wow?

No, it has an ARM based CPU.
