Unable to get timewalking quest items

I have 14 lvl 80’s (1 of each class & an extra warrior) that I’ve been running timewalking each week it’s up most of the season. I have been keeping track of this bug since the first week of turbulent timeways 2 which started January 7th (we’re currently on week 7).

13 of my 14 characters are able to loot the quest item (Smoldering Timewarped Ember this week but different each week) from the first kill of the final dungeon boss each week. However, my priest has been unable to loot this item for 7 consecutive weeks at least. I wasn’t keeping track earlier in the season but may have been happening then as well. I do not have any of these items in this character’s bank and it has no pending mail or auctions. I have submitted several bug reports and tickets but haven’t received any meaningful help or explanation. I can only assume this character is in come weird phase where it cannot loot these items.

I am in the process of leveling alts that aren’t level 80 through Timewalking Dungeons and also running my level 80s through a Timewalking Dungeon at least once per character most weeks. It’s almost 30 characters and only two of my characters(the same two each week) cannot loot the quest item no matter the week or timewalking expansion. For me personally, I noticed the issue back in late December and narrowed down those two characters.

Both are boosted characters, otherwise there is no connection between the two that I can think of. That along with other non-boosted characters from other people it is really baffling that Blizzard has yet to put out an official statement on this issue. TBH, I’m only commenting on this thread in hopes it somehow pushes through so they see it but I feel like it’s wasted energy.
