Preservationist Kathos does not have a quest for me. Unable to complete Secrets of Azeroth.
The quest should be A Proper Burial, but NPC has nothing. Quest is not compelted.

Same problem. This keeps happening to me. I was able to skip getting the quest and completing the tasks for Day 9, but not possible with this one. Just no quest is offered. And I have all of the previous parts of the achievement complete, so I have no idea why this keeps happening

Same problem, I have completed all the other quests, but suddenly the npc no longer offers me the quest, I have tried with my other characters but it doesn’t work either.
This event is really frustrating for me.

Same problem here too. I have completed all the other quests, but i am unable to pick up the quest from Preservationist Kathos A Proper Burial. Help please

Also having this issue, would love to be able to finish this before the event is over
ETA: Be sure to check your bag for Maruuk Burial Banner if you think you cant get the quest, i guess it auto gave it to me after finishing “Forging is key”
Still a bug, a confusing one at that, should still get fixed so people dont think theyre stuck

Same problem. I’ve checked my bags, and even my bank, no banner anywhere. I tried talking to the centaur anyways and no luck, you NEED the banner

Also stuck, never received a quest or banner from the inn after finishing the key quest. Its just bugged out.

Just here to help bring attention to this… I don’t have the item anywhere, and none of the NPCs will give me any quests either. It’s been a few days now.

Chiming in here, I’ve already opened a ticket but I’m also unable to receive any quests from Day 10 and on from any of the NPCs in the Roasted Ram Inn.

I’m having the same problem not receiving the starter quest to move forward with the ach for many days no it all started with the quest A Key Story and I also did on another alt I think it may have bugged out for me and I have looked in bags of all alts and tried going back on both toons nothing to pickup or in bags either contacted blizzard for this issue too and 1st time they helped but the next clue event same thing no starter quest and reached out to blizzard and no help this time so if there is not a fix I dont get the ach and the mount so this will be a waste of my time

So just a few minutes ago the NPC gave me the quest to do A Proper Burial (I didn’t have the banner still, by the way)… I’m assuming I have to wait till tomorrow to continue and catch up? Or who knows really! Hope it also randomly fixes itself for some of you. :')
I had the same problem with Kathos not having a quest. check your bag for Maruuk Burial Banner take the banner to Sansok Khan in ohn’ ahran 60.0, 37.4 and talk with her. She will take the banner. Return to Kathos and she will have the quest.
This was reported a MONTH AGO and this is still happening. I’ve been grinding through these, show credit for “forging is the key” from Clue 10, but Preservationis Kathos has nothing for me. I’ve logged out, I’ve gone to other zones and come back through the portal. This is intensely frustrating.
I found Sansok Khan at 63.3 41.4 in Ohn’Ahran Plains. He will give you banner and then quest should appear
