I got a Stolen present from the ship command table from BfA and when I go to open the present, it opens an empty loot window that doesn’t close. No loot is given to me, and the present remains in my inventory. I submitted a ticket through the WoW client and they told me to submit a bug report. Ticket Number: US77144071

Same thing happened to me. I did the BFA table mission for the Stolen Present on all my lvl 50’s and all the presents are empty when I click to open them. There is a message on the present that says “requires Feast of Winter Veil” so I went under the tree next to Great-father Winter and attempted to open the presents there, but they are still empty. The empty Stolen Present remains in inventory after attempting to open.

If you put in a ticket, they will mail you the “correct” (“fixed”) green version of the present on that character, since they claim the 2019 version of the present is what was showing on the mission table and is now empty. It’s a waste of time though because you will just get disposable toys and fruitcake. If you haven’t looted it from the table yet, it will be green when you go to get it. Even level 60s will only get the green gift now from the table.
My 2 level 60s have only gotten the junk loot in the daily blue present for the past two days, so I think it’s broken even further unless my RNG is that bad. Usually I was getting at least a toy or pet I already had every day at the beginning. They didn’t respond to my mention of the “bug” that level 50s should be able to loot the blue present from the daily, so it appears the way this event (and possibly future holiday events) is working is intended, sadly.
