I have a mount and have been flying after lvl30 in Eastern Kingdom. Tried to fly in Tul Tiras, but got message that lvl40 was required and Master Riding. I now have those but upon returning to Tul Tiras I cannot fly - mount does loop-t-do and crashes. ??? Obviously, I’m confused. I also saw a trouble ticket post of a similar problem where someone responded that “Pathfinder” was still required for some areas. If so, where do I find that - and how come I could fly in the other Region. Any help is appreciated.
You need to do the pathfinder achievement for BfA.

Going to require some elbow grease if you’re really interested in it. You’ll need to get some reputations to revered, which may take a few weeks alone.
Unfortunately, bad game design is rampant in this game and Blizzard doesn’t want you to have fun. You have to spend some time grinding if you want flying.

I never bothered to get flying there. I’m happy to wait until they unlock it. Likely when the next expansion goes live.

I didn’t do BFA when it was current. I decided to play an alt through BFA, so I did the rep stuff, and along the way unlocked allied races.
I was always jealous of people flying by while I was on the ground. When I finished, it was such a good feeling, I mounted my favorite flying mount and flew around a long time.
It how the game works, if you got everything handed to you when you make a new character, most would loose interest and not last long.
I will be a little sad when they hand BFA flying to everyone, but for a little while, my reward for the effort feels good, that’s how many get enjoyment from the game. I’m sure someone will pop in and call me a boomer or something because I’m ok with earning things in this game to give me goals…

I’ve gotten every pathfinder while it was current other than WoD (because I am a causal and never left my garrison and WQ didn’t exist yet) and it does feel nice. Plus it saves gold cuz you don’t have to pay for flight 58488338 times. Can also use it before cap with pf which is nice as well.
It is insanely retarded on Blizzards part that they still make people get a flight achieve even though its not current content.

Thanks so much Simplyred for your information. I never in my wildest imagination would have guessed that so much and so many requirements would be required just to fly in an area. Ridiculous! I’ll be galloping along on my Mount, thank you very much. I mean I’m lvl 40 and the area is only good for 10 more lvls then lvl’ng stops, so will be moving on. but thanks again.

there are plenty of flight points and boat points too. you’ll be fine without flying.

When the content is not current there is no reason to lock it behind achieve. Last four years is the least I have ever played WoW. Every x-pac they take away more freedoms then re-package them and make you earn it again. Sorry but it needs to go back to just get gear in order to have fun. Not even bothering with end game content anymore.

For BfA this is only this way because it is the previous expansion. Expansions before BfA you can fly immediately, and it is believed that when 10.0 comes this will be lifted for BfA. This is a pretty normal tactic for Blizzard.
just level thru dungeons and never leave town, should take a few hours at most
or just skip it, it wasn’t that great when it was new.
And wait…there’s more.
BFA scales to SL. So to BFA rep it you need to be well geared for SL. as you will go damn…these are just like SL mobs.
This area wasn’t like Argus for rep runs for allied races. 2 weeks of BFA , 120, some decent gear…go steamroll Argus for quick efficient rep runs.
Naga and gnome ville…nope. Elites will not kill you very well. It had that. BUt…you weren’t killing them easy either. this was 9.1 levels. I have not gone back as say 242 ilevels. that first run had me go this ain’t right. and did not go back lol.
Like someone said…enough flight points make the area okay no personal flight. I’d care more in 11.0. when the raids could be soloable. Its just easier to fly these in loops, imo.
So say 4-5 years lol.
